City-State Types Basemod

Description
Ahoy, Suzerains! A new City-State type has arrived to Civilization VI: the Maritime City-State. Maritime City-States will offer you bonuses to Gold, Production, and Culture in many sea-based ways. Your Harbors will also bustle with life and yields after wooing these City-States. Maritime City-States will attempt to settle on the coasts and build Harbors.

CURRENTLY THIS MOD WILL NOT WORK WITH YNAMP, I HAVE ALREADY COORDINATED A PATCH TO YNAMP AND ONCE IT IS UPDATED THIS MOD WILL BE 100% COMPATIBLE. Update: Gedemon has updated the dev version of ynamp, so I'm sure the release version will be coming.

This mod will is required to run any of my City-State packs.

This mod SOLELY provides framework for extra city-state types. It will provide no additional City-States, check out the links below for the City-State packs.

In the future I will update this mod to include three more City-State types: Agrarian, Metropolitan, and Leisure.
The next City-State Pack I will release is the Artisan type. It will focus on the Smith's/Mason's/Forestry Quarter districts from Ananse's Redistricting, with bonuses to resources (both vanilla and Amatheria's Resourceful) and improvements.

Below are the Envoy bonuses for the Maritime City-State type:
1 Envoy: +1 Food and +3 Gold in the Capital
3 Envoys: +2 Gold and +2 Production in every Harbor district.
6 Envoys: +1 Production to Coast tiles in every city with a Harbor.

Check out the City-State Packs that use this mod:
Artisan City-States
South American City-States
Caribbean City-States

This mod is in its Phase 1/4 release. Please report any crashes/bugs/misbehaviors in the comments or preferrably a message on Reddit. Also feel free, nay, obligated to leave your suggestions for current or future content.

This mod is also available on CivFanatics[forums.civfanatics.com] for those of you who wish to peruse it easier.

**I'm all for anyone using my code to learn how to mod. I don't need credits or anything, and you can straight copy and paste any code you find in my mods. After all, modding is just remixing Firaxis's code.**

Use this CQUI Patch to resolve the trade route screen issues while using CQUI.

MODDERS:
If you are interested in making your own City-State types please shoot me a message so we can deconflict. This mod needs to take ownership of a few luas so there can only be one City-State types mod in use at a time.

Oh I forgot to say that I was referring to the maritime one. The other one is also kind of strong too though.

I believe that the ability is too op. +3 gold in the capital is already stronger than economic type. All the production in the other 2 levels are also rather strong. It could be a good idea for level 2 to provide 1 food instead of production. Level 3 should likely have another condition than just coast and apply to modern day for consistancy. I hope I gave good suggestions.

Assume it's this mod, just installed the game again and get a weird $CityState$ title thing on the citystate screen and no info displays.

I do believe this mod has bugged out on me. The city state screen is unusable, and so i have to save and reload my game every time i get an envoy.

An update for R&F would be great?

Very sad that this mod (and the other C-S mods) aren't compatible with R&F.
Arcadian Aug 18, 2018 @ 11:28am
Ohoy. It would be nice if you could make it compatible for R&F.

I still get crash back to main menu.

Most mods I use are civs - Rohan's, JFD's and Gedemo's Civ collections, plus Merrick's Anglo-Saxon, The Mississipians, and the CIVITIS NA and TCS's city state mods.

My other mods are Good Goody Huts, Map Tacks, Mitchs Quick Start, Mutulkay Exclusive Removal, No Obsolite Wonders, Policy Change Reminder, Production Queue, Relgion Expanded, Removeable Districts, Resourceful, Temple of Heaven, Tomatekh's Historical Relgions.

Hope this helps narrow down the bug. I liked the look fo this mod.
