How to Have Multiple Save Games

I've seen it quite a few times, people asking for multiple save games, here's how you can do it!

Disable Steam Cloud

Right click Mafia 3 in Library > Properties > Updates tab > Tick Enable Steam Cloud Saving box empty

The Save Files

Go to C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia III\Data (you can copy-paste the address into the directory tab in file explorer).

You should see 2 folders: one named "profiles" and another one named a long number (I think it's your Steam ID).

Inside the long number folder, you will see 2 folders: "profile" (this is a different one than the previous) and "gamesaves".

Go inside gamesaves > default > aslot, you will find 3 different .sav files, those are the save game files of your current progress (be sure to check the Date Modified to be extra sure!). Cut and paste them somewhere else.

Now when you start the game, it will start from scratch. This new progress will create another 3 .sav files in the same destination, so if you wish to revert to the previous game saves, cut these new 3 .sav files and paste them somewhere (other than the old .sav files, otherwise they'll overwrite them), and then cut the old save progress and paste them there in gamesaves/default/aslot/.

Tip: I suggest you Right click the Data folder (located here C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia III) and then Send to > Desktop (create shortcut), for faster access in the future.

Useful guide but i have a question:

I read that some achievements are cumulative through the various playthroughs, so...
If i remove my old saves will i lose my progress for those achievements?
