Description

Made as a request by [3R]Genderbread Man for his community - Third Realms Networks:

Hoth was perceived to be of little significance by both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire until the conflict known as the Great War. The site of a particularly fierce battle, advanced starships from both fleets clashed above the frigid planet; many powerful war machines were destroyed and plummeted to Hoth's surface.

These starships were forgotten by all but mercenaries and pirates until the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant. Both the Republic and the Empire turned their attention back to Hoth, intent on reclaiming the wreckage of the ships they lost during the battle over the planet. This has resulted in increasing conflict as both sides come into contact with each other, as well as those that moved to salvage the fallen starships in their absence.

During this period the Empire deployed several units to reclaim the wreckage therefore 'Imperial Snow Trooper Scouts' were sent into battle against the Republic.
