Yes, I did just comment on a 4 year old guide just to comment on your pfp.
Either unpack the Starbound assets and use the Cape file already located in it or check the internet. The Outfit generator doesn't come with a back template
Unforuntately I do not know that. I'm only workin on the aesthetics. If you want a no-particle effect, maybe try the "invulnerable" Status effect. Not 100% if that works though.
I really need to update the Guide again. The Outfit Generator needs to be updated.
The Sleevespart is included in the main Program now.
About the Black Squares: This might be the problem that the transparency was lost after saving the file. I recommend using a proper Image Editing Software like Photoshop or Paint.net like I used in the Guide.
I used to have an outfit for my character, but now, the sleeve part turned into a black square that make my character be a giant black square...
It used to work a while but now is like this. I downloaded the newest version of it, changed the template, but it's still happening
1. The Armor/Outfits you make with this Method are visible by everyone in Multiplayer without them or the server needing mods.
2. Effects like Dark Cape? You'll need to add "effectSources": ["Particleeffect"], to the code. Someone made a detailed Guide about that here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=817439914
Check under the Point: 'Adding [Particles]'
3.Shields and Weapons? This is a whole different Side of Vanilla modding, that I wanted to cover up with another guide.... But I am still a noob when it comes to that, which is why I didn't. Do not use the OutfitGenerator for this, as it probably won't work or mess up.
4. Mech Parts? Uhhh. No Idea? I haven't gotten into Mechs at all.
