All the Endings in Dark Souls 3

This guide will detail all the steps on how to complete every ending in Dark Souls 3.

The Linking of the Fire

This ending is the most simple out of the three, and is easily unlocked, alongside it's respective achievement, by defeating the Soul of Cinder and linking the fire.

The End of Fire

This ending, aswell as it's achievement, is unlocked by giving the 'Fire Keeper Eyes' recieved from the Untended Graves, the secret area behind Oceiros the Consumed King's boss arena, behind the corpse where you find the 'Way of the Dragon' gesture. The Fire Keeper's Summon sign will be visible once the Soul of Cinder is defeated, which allows you to summon her, which triggers the ending.

Alternatively...
When the cinematic is nearing it's end, you can kill the Fire Keeper, which is considered the more 'canon' ending. This does not unlock the 'End of Fire' achievement, though.

The Usurpation of Fire

This ending involves Yoel of Londor, Anri of Astora and Yuria of Londor. This ending, is by far the hardest to do, as it involves the most steps, which I will list for you.

1. Find Yoel of Londor in the Undead Settlement, I'm sure you've run into him before, he's the pilgrim on the collapsed end of the bridge that is begging for death. Accept his service and go back to Firelink.

2. Yoel will offer to 'Draw out your True Strength", granting you a free level. These levels will curse you with the Dark Sigil, a curse that increases your hollowing with each death you have. (Do NOT proceed past the Abyss Watchers, or Yoel will die, failing the quest.)

3. After you accept Yoel's level-ups atleast five times, he will die of 'excitement' and Yuria of Londor will take his place. Yuria will refer to you as the 'Lord of Hollows', which is what you will become.

4. When you meet Anri, exhaust all of their dialouge. If Yoel is dead and replaced by Yuria, proceed to either Farron Keep Swamp or Cathedral of the Deep.

5. For the Deacons of the Deep bossfight, Anri and Horace's summon signs will be outside the arena. This must be done for them to appear in Firelink.

6. Once Anri and Horace arrive in Firelink, exhaust all of Anri's Dialouge. They will then proceed to the Catacombs of Carthus.

7. Anri will be seperated from Horace in the Catacombs. Even if you know Horace's localle, do NOT tell Anri. Horace has gone hollow and will kill them.

7.5. The first time you find Anri is near the first bone ball, down from the Abyss Watcher's bonfire. (video link) Talk to them here to have here relocate to outside of Hight Lord Wolnir's bossfight before crossing the bridge to the right.

8. After killing High Lord Wolnir, proceed to the Smouldering Lake. Hug the right wall of the Smouldering Lake, and there is a small cave where Horace will be. He drops the Llewellyn Shield.

9. Proceed to the Church of Yorshka Bonfire, and speak to Anri. They will give you the 'Quiet Resolve' gesture. They will also be avaliable for summon for the Pontiff Sulyvahn bossfight.
A. Do NOT kill the Assassin disguised in the corner of the church. This will fail the quest.

10. Speak to Yuria of Londo she will then say something regarding Anri. Then proceed to the Darkmoon Tomb, behind an illusory wall in Anor Londo. This is where a Pilgrim will greet you, and give you the ceremonial 'wedding sword'. You are now wed to Anri. You may now proceed with the game as normal. You are a Lord of Hollows.

Author's Notes

I began writing this guide for both Achievement Hunters and Paranoid People who think they messed up the quest. I fit into both of these categories.

Anri changes gender alongside your character. He will be male if you pick a female, and vice versa. I played the game as a male, and I wanted to remain gender-neutral with them, so I didn't use gender-specific pronouns.

The Contributors are the people who helped me through my runs of Dark Souls 3, and I'm actually really happy for that. Without them, I doubt I could've passed *Pontiff Sulyvahn.

Fourth ending? I believe that was mentioned in 'The End of Fire' segment. If you're referring to the ending where you kill the Firekeeper.

hey by the way don't kill the assassin disguised as a statue in the corner of yorshka church or it messes up the questline for lord of hollows
