Early Geo Farming
By Ocean Machine
Just a simple farming trick I discovered while playing. There might be something much more effective later in the game, but for now this has been quite efficient.

Farming Location
One of the early areas in the game, the Fungal Wastes (located south of the Forgotten Crossroads) has an area near the top left of the map that can be used for geo farming.

Entering from the left, initially two giant mushrooms will spawn in a trap room that you will have to kill before proceeding. After you finish the trap room, you can leave the room to the right and then return. Now only one giant mushroom will spawn along with two small mushrooms. The small mushrooms do not give any geo, but the giant mushroom gives 45 geo each time.

Faster Farming
Additionally, the Fragile Greed charm can be purchased from the merchant located in the first right turn coming down from the Forgotten Crossroads. With the Fragile Greed charm you will get
56 geo each time.

Merchant
He will require 86 geo before he sells you any items.
The Fragile charms he sells are strong, but they will break on death, so it is best to buy with caution.
Conclusion
Hope this helped, and happy farming!

As grey moment said, the guard is a very good way. I personally geat soul from the bugs farther left in the room afterwards because he died to 3 vengeful spirits and 4 nail hits, however with shaman stone it is 3 vengeful spirits and 2 nail hits. I also find it easier than the 2 moss knights.

If you are a little later in the game and are in deepnest, i suggest running through the failed tramways and defeating as many enemies there as possible. The one enemy spawns multiple dirtcrawlers, and they all give some decent amounts. After one trip there is about 200 or so geo, and a bench right outside to reset the enemies.

You mean the 2nd trial.

These are all great tips and all, but the best way to get geo is to just wait till u can do the 1st trial in the colosseum, then repeat over and over. Its not that hard to get to, and there is no risk in losing geo. Otherwise, just find any artifiacts along the way and sell em if u rlly need geo. If you are a completionist, u shouldnt rlly need to grind geo at all until u need to buy the unbreakable charms, and possibly mid game if u lose a lot on death

Usually what i found really amazing was beating the small mini bosses that respawn in two locations, somewhere on the side of Forgotten Crossroads and another i can't remember. Since i'm not far into the game, I took Sly's advice and farmed for geo along the Forgotten Crossroads a bit. I have 600+ again that i had lost yesterday by dying from the same thing. But once i get to this point in the game, I'll try this out.

I like to farm moss knights, the Greenpath stagway has a few above it. Stalwart Shell and Quick Slash are helpful.

Oh I use the one that is just above the geenpath stag way you will find 2 leaf knight guys killing both of them comes up with a some id 80 average as well as you can kill that lead charger thing as well for plus ten it takes a while to get used to killing fast but you can and to reset just use the stag station that is right next to you
