The base

These pyramids are made with Triangle foundations and are 6 sided as that seems to be the only way to keep it symetrical. The length of one side needs to be equal to the rest and will by default be equal to the hight. I.E. : If you do a base of 10 you will have a ten storie Pyramid like the large one in the pic. The hardest part about the base is finding a large enough area of flat land.

construction

Constructing the interior is done with Pillars and Walls. I recomend a little of both as I've found that Pillars cause placement issues of the sloped roof angles at the top. Walls seem to make this easier. keep track of where you are placeing your stairs so you don't weaken the integrity of the structure or you'll be deleting a lot. the very top will need to be completed from outside the structure so i leave one part of roof off and climb up from the outside.

Closing Thoughts

This is a very material heavy project and I was only able to build this with the help of clan members gathering materials. Otherwise it would've taken weeks. The triangle fix MOD is very usefull for this as it halves the weight of them and allows for larger gaps between pillars. The base of these 3 Pyramids are 4,7,and 10, and can be found in the Soultakers server at 192.169.81.199:27089 .

Base 20 project

Using a bit of triginometry I've calculated the number of Wedge foundations to be roughly 4157. This is a massive project and I wanted to thank those who have helped so far. I'll put up pics of the half way mark and completion once we get there.

(tha banana) place the base first by doing the perimeter to the size you want then fill in center. hold shift while using mouse wheel for desired hight. or if still not high enough place on tree and raise. once placed remove tree and connect all blocks to first.

i made a 60x60x30high using no adimn help it took me 184hrs to build it and i got a video of it if you want to see it.

Velrisias- yes we run more of a RP server and one of the Admins said the same thing. :)

also they're very hard to destroy via explosive jars due to the multi layering if you build like this one.

ok so have been having an issue since latest patch with the walls triping out and "dancing" all over the place when trying to build. have no work around as of yet. only thing so far is infinite patience and deleting all the randomly placed peices
