True Ending and achievement in the Demontower minigame

Hello,
This is the guide for the true ending and achievement of the Demontower minigame.

Starting since the 2nd floor you can observe the Shady looking NPC at the place of your spawn every 2 levels.
His dialog are 2x4 rows of squares with the one colored in.

Those are the hints for the last room before the final boss showdown.
It is confirmed that the pattern is different every playthrough.

At the pre-final boss room called The Corpse along the way there is a corridor on the left side of the room.
When you enter it you are presented with 2x4 rows of skulls on pillars.
The previous hints from the NPC tell you in what order you are supposed to pick up 4 of those skulls.
After you do that you are presented with final chest with the key which allows you to mend to hole in the belly of the deer-cat-thing at the end of the room.
After that only thing left to do is to beat the final boss to get the true ending!

Is there any way to tell which skulls without the NPC? I killed him on accident on level 1 or 2 and I really don't wanna restart

If anyone is peeking into the save file to see what their code is (labelled demontower_altar_code 0, 1, 2, 3), the values correspond to the altars like so:
1 3 5 7
0 2 4 6

For example I had 6-5-3-1, which meant hitting them in this order:
4 3 2 x
x x x 1

Should save you a tedious replay if you made a mistake.

i accidentally killed the NPC on the seventh level and I cried (to myself). Then I found out it was his last appearance and I already had the full sequence.. WHEW!!

To clear up regarding the ~*~Demonpower~*~ achievement, you get the ~*~Demonpower~*~ achievement by beating Demon Tower, either with the good or bad ending. With the good ending on your first go, you simutenously get the Palecat achievement with the ~*~Demonpower~*~ achievement.
