First, english is not my first language so I'm sorry if I sound weird.

Second, this game don't have any music, so play a movie or your own music because it get boring fast.

My easy Tower to get achievements:

High part

Middle to high part

Lower to middle part

And now to the tipps
General Tower building tipps
1) Width is better as height, you need less elevators and servicestations (electro/water) which means less maintenance cost

2) At the beginning you will have a nice amount of money and some basic services like maintenance crew and a power supply unit and other things that will cost maintenance, the best idea is to destroy them because you only have 2 workers for a longer time and your first task should be to make your tower bigger

3) Your tenants will take stairs without complaining to the third floor which cost way less as elevators

4) You could use several elevators but they have to start on the ground floor and the don't give you any advantage (only some specific building types like elevators by them) but each one cost maintenance, which means only one elevator shaft is enough for any tower

5) The higher you build your tower, the higher the cost get for the building itself and the servicelines

6) The game doesn't have any physics, you can delete any part of your building without to worry

7) Suggestion: build your stairs (which is 4 spaces wide) on the right side (because they enter it on the left, so each building you place get the all visitors) of your tower with 4 spaces open for services (electro/water needs each one space, garbage needs 2 space) and later replace them with elevators (which have only need 3 space so you have one left for recycling)

8) You don't need any servicestation on the basement lvl 1 but after the second

9) Lvl 1 servicestations gives you 10 uses, lvl 2 50 uses and lvl 3 150 uses. Bigger buildings needs more uses and on higher difficulty it's cheaper to use lvl 2 stations instead of lvl 3

10) If you have automatic maintenance, your tenants are happy/ok and you make money, it will run forever so you can run it in the background like adventure capitalist

11) The achievements are really easy to get, only 2 needs more "work" (finish 5/10 scenarios with gold medal)
General ressource types tipps
You have 4 type of ressources:

1) Money - Need to build everything
2) Reputation/stars - Need to unlock things, needed for most scenarios
3) Influence/purple thumbs up - Need to unlock different things
4) Buzz/blue smiling face - Need to do special actions to make certain things easier

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) One of the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the game is that you only see if you make money or loose it after a day and not immediatly

2) You loose reputation if you destroy higher buildings or if they leave! You will get them back but it takes a huge amount of time. If I recall correct it will get down 0.1 stars each day.

3) Tenants don't like it if you loose to much influence and go under the requirements

4) To get easy reputation just build small art, they cost 5-6k and give each one star

5) Don't use buzz to easily, the cost raise exponentially and could be your joker to save your ass! (take a third loan for example)

6) Use 2 loans at max and have the third one for emergencies because if you ♥♥♥♥ up, there isn't any way to get out of it

7) Ignore the sliders for rent in the daily statistics, if you use them they get locked for 48hrs.

8) Use the individual rent slider for each building at 23:55 and turn it all up to 200%, immediatly after 0:00 turn it back if you need more money

9) You need 10 influence to build the influence buildings. Build them before you spend it because otherwise you have to wait again.

10) Because of the lack of good buzz/influence/money at the beginning you should get automatic maintenance at first so you can let it run in the background to collect ressources and play something else

11) If you make everything right, the higher you get the more you get and the game get to easy.
General building tipps
With buildings I mean offices, apartments, etc.

- Restaurants makes noise and smell but don't care of it
- Businesses makes noise and don't like smell
- first lvl offices and first lvl cheap apartments doesn't care if it make noise or smell
- Higher offices and quality apartments don't like noise or smell
- Highest offices and apartments don't like to much people on their floor

Smell and noice

1) On higher difficulties the different services you need for offices and apartment cost more maintenance and they make less money which makes it easier to just build small offices

2) Small offices are the best investments, they need only one power and tel, max 4 different services, cost 4 spaces and creative offices gives the most money

3) If you want to be sure that others don't get affected by smell or noise make the entire floor of the same type of buildings and the two floors under and over small offices or cheap small apartments

4) Don't use the rent sliders in the money screen it gets blocked for 48hrs, only use the individual slider, that doesn't get locked

5) I personally use it to reduce it to 75% if they want to leave or make it at 23:55 to 200% and make it at 0:00 back to normal to maximize the rent

Nice Guide.

Re: "servicestations" a.k.a. "utility closets", "wiring closet", "pipe & 'HVAC-vent' closet" ...
As of 2020: Another tip for utilities - except for the HVAC pump, the "generators" may be placed on any underground level, then lines/pipes may be run across the building (like what is already on level -1) from either side of each "generator" - after which you will not need utility closets on that level! ... as utility closets reach out and connect to lines/pipes on a level immediately above or below said closet.

noobie question, where are the escalators? I have seen them in Miami Malls dlc gameplay on youtube but I don't see them in my game even though I have all three dlc's. Thanks

@snakeefellow I'm not sure about Project Highrise I haven't played it in months. Normally you buy DLC from the store or download it from there if it is free and then steam should install them automatically.
