Kattegat, Norway

Description
A fictional place from the TV-series "Vikings". Located somewhere in Northern Norway, on a fjord near the Kattegat strait in northern Norway. Actual filming location is in Lough Tay in Wicklow, Ireland. This includes a 100% custom highway and a railway network. Recommended with Nordic themes. No snow on mountaintops. You will need to use terraforming extensively to fully master this map. It includes several "naturally" flat geographic regions right away, though, including the original city, Kattegat. Have fun!

Kattegat is a portion of occean that belong to Denmark. It's so annoying that they didn't do better research then this. It looks a bit like Geirangerfjorden. But the flat lands are very sparse in Western Norway. Hence Viken rose to prominence - if I don't mistake it - and is the place where the Vikings got their name. A "vik" is a bay - a word we have many translations of here.

Take a look at a map and tell me if Denmark and the northern parts of Norway are divided by Kattegat :)
