We Were Here 100% Achievement Walkthrough

It is a coop game which requires 2 playthroughs to get 100%. All achievements except "Everything is Better with Friends" are storyline.

"The Answer Lies.." & "Between the Eyes.." (Solution for the first Puzzle)

To start the game the explorer needs to pick up the walkie talkie.You actually both need to pick it up,to communicate if you are not using discord or other stuff.

Then the explorer needs to press symbols on the wall,

to find out which ones you have to press look at the color of eyes on the wall and find the ones you need on the scroll below.

"Is that a.." & " A face on its" (Solution for the second Puzzle)

Proceed to next room. Explorer needs to place the right symbols under the painting(random painting from the galery where librarian at).

"This is fine" & "Antarctic Odyssey" (Solution for the third Puzzle)

In the next room the explorer have to to say what color the door sign says.
On the picture it says "green" (but it's randomly generated).

While the librarian needs to go to the basement and he will see three colored vavlves there.
He has to open the combination of valves to get the same color as the door says.(In our case it is blue + yellow makes "green")

"Dungeons and.." & "Guiding Light" (Solution for the fourth Puzzle)

The next room is a labyrinth where the explorer needs to be guided by the librarian.
But having a map makes this puzzle easily solved by the explorer alone.
The explorer need to pull leves in this order:
blue - green - blue - red - blue - green
and then proceed to the next room.

"Ice Physics" & "Grandmaster" (Solution for the fifth Puzzle)

In the next room the explorer has to act quickly or he will freeze to death.
First, he has to turn on the generator.
Then he needs to move the chess in right order.

The screenshots are done step by step for both sides:

"Is that another.." & "South Pole" (Solution for the sixth Puzzle)

For the next room the explorer need to tell the librarian which symbols are on book,so the librarian can find the book you need and guide you through the platforms.
You won't die if take the wrong step,but the book will be replaced with another one.

The easiest direction in my opinion is for book six,so you can reset until you get this one.

"Lights, camera.." & " Don't Turn Around" (Solution for the last Puzzle)

To start the last puzzle, the librarian must get on the stage in the theater and play the recording on gramophone.

The explorer must act quickly because there's a marionete getting closer to the librarian in the theater trying to kill him.

On this screenshot you can see which lever the explorer needs to use to bring certain character on the stage.You need to press scene 1 button when you have everything you need on stage.

Below you can see what you need to bring on the stage to proceed further.
Act 1.

Castle + People
Act 2.

Castle + Queen + King
Act 3.

Castle + Queen + King + People
Act 4.

Castle + Queen + People + Mad King
Act 5. You need to activate the blood light for this act.


King + Blood Light
After you are done go to the trapdoors behind the king

"Why me?" & "Worst Friend Forever"

You will meet each other in the end, but only one can escape.






The one who leaves will get "Worst Friend Forever" achievement and the sacrifice will get "Why me?" achievement.

In the dungeon puzzle as the Explorer, interact with the pink switch multiple times until confetti pops out.

For those breaking their own heads, like me, for the "Die Hard" achievement...you have to play the whole game without dying AND without making mistakes.

I don't know if the "perfect play" achievements were added later (after this guide was made), but they aren't referred to here, and they aren't story-related / unmissable. Basically there are several achievements for completing a level/puzzle "perfectly," e.g., not dying.

The last scene bothered me since the castle all of a sudden isn't in the scene anymore. I guess he "killed all he could" which somehow means he destroyed the castle with a... sword?

Can someone explain me the story of the 10 flicks of the red lever for the secret ending, I got all of the achievments and came here for the hidden one (the tricky one so).

I gladly thank you for the tips but... as I've search trough different run/website I can't figure how do you get the info of flicking the red lever 10 times, what info has lead you to figure that ?
