How to make steel in Conan Exiles!

[Outdated]Secret of the Steel Revealed

First of all you need to at least level 30 to craft some steel bars.

You Need:

-Brimstone
-Cauldron
-Steel Fire
-Iron Bars
-Furnace
-Tar

Here's the recipe:

First put brimstone and tar into cauldron to make some steel fire.Then put the steel fire and some iron bars into the furnace.Light it.Aaaand done.Now destroy your enemies ^^

How To Obtain the ingredients:

-Tar can be found as a sideproduct from tannery.
-Brimstone can be found from some stone like trees,NW of the map and from Rocknose monsters.Also it can be found in some caves near the starting point through the middle of the map.

can anyone tell me why brimstone, tar, coal in caldron isnt making me any steelfire? I tried wood and bark also as fuel. just burns and burns but produces nothing

Some of this information is incorrect. You do NOT have to be level 30 to make steel bars. In fact, you could be level 1 if someone gave you a furnance, cauldron and all the ingredients.

and also there is in north west the brimstone lake where is also white rhinos.

There are some caves, not too far north of the south river that had brimstone nodes, like the iron or coal nodes. Just need to be cautious about corruption as you will start gaining corruption when you go into most caves.
