What is Beyond Centauri?

Beyond Centauri is the mod which connects two games – Beyond Earth and Alpha Centauri. Both strategic games created by Sid Meier's Team were embedded in the world of science fiction. It's time to connect both of these worlds. It's time for Beyond Centauri.


Why you should choose Beyond Centauri?

· 32 new technologies and 53 new leaf-technologies based on a technology tree from Alpha Centauri.
· 64 new buildings based on buildings from Alpha Centauri.
·All 60 virtues have new bonuses.
· 6 wonders have updated bonuses, 9 completely new wonders (instead of some old one).
· Updated startup: new Cargo, Colonists and Spacecraft.
· Little updates about units, special abilities and required technologies.

Known issues:

· From some reasons help descriptions of two buildings: 'The Citizens Defense Force' and 'The Living Refinery' are not showing. I can't repair it and this is really strange bug.
· Sometimes player gain free building 'Clinical Immortiality'. I'm not sure what cause it, but in code I couldn't find anything to eliminate this.
· In one of quest description there is a problem with a Culture – an icon for some reasons is not showing. But you can anyway choose an option and end the quest.
· Icons of new wonders got really bold circles around the icon. When I'm improving them game automatically destroys the quality of them. So it's impossible to repair in-game.


Important information:

· Modification requires 'Rising Tide' DLC.
· For people who don't have 'Rising Tide' DLC – in the future there can be vanilla version.
· There will be a version of a mod with two sponsors from Alpha Centauri. Because of a lot of problems this version was causing, it didn't become the real, default version. But you can will be able to get it from a private link.

Will there be new updates?

I will only create updates with repaired bugs. Therefore, it is important that the community of players report each one.


I found a bug/I've got a bug. How can I report it?

Firstly, play on a mod a part, in which you are striking a bug. Then go to: My Documents/Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth and copy entire folder „Logs”. Create archive file .rar or .zip, and then send it on E-Mail: paweu016@gmail.com with a description what is actually happening. I will try to respond within 2-7 days.

This mod removed trade depots from the game so you can't do any trade...

My main problem was that no buildings grant production anymore, and half-game I'm stuck with just fast forwarding turn after turn to build anything at all :(

@VoicedHyperion1 It's connected with Diplomacy (Capital) Yield in Rising Tide addon. Quests are giving 10% of basic yield.

Some quests have the yeald diplomacy, but I dont actualy know what it does. For example a quest will say "10% more Diplomacy." Does any one know what the "diplomacy" yeald for quests acutaly does?

@youyoumu I never tested it with any mods. There might be problems, but it's really depending on mod and what this mod is changing.
