Short guide to get "The one ring" fast.

TL;DR

• Save the game

• If not, reload the save and try again

Description:

Since there is no guide on steam and this achievement almost made me lose my mind, here is a reliable way, that I found out (after one hour of stupid mining):

1. Dig out the bored Mog. You find Kuppo at the M.
   Save the game.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Now you can start mining. The idea is to switch between different positions (1 2 3 4 5). Here they represent the planks Zidane is walking on and are totally made up by me. It's just an example - you can use any pattern you want I guess.
   
   
   
   Start at position 1 and mine up to about 25-30 times.
   
   • If you find loot, immediately switch to the next position. After pos 5 just start over at pos 1.
     
   • If you don't get any loot even after 30 mining attempts, switch to the next position.
     
   • If you don't get any loot on 2 positions in a row, reload the game (or save first, if you want to keep the goodies). Then try again.

I tried this method 5 times and the average time to get the ring was less than 5 minutes... Luck?! Maybe :D But 5 fast attempts make me feel confident.

Beschreibung:

Da auf Steam kein Guide dafür existiert und ich wegen diesem Achievement beinahe wahnsinnig geworden wäre, ist hier mal ein recht zuverlässiger Weg den ich (nach einer Stunde hirnrissigen rumhämmerns) gefunden habe:

1. Buddelt den gelangweilten Mog aus. Kuppo findet ihr beim M.
   Speichert das Spiel.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Jetzt kann drauflosgepickt werden. Der Plan ist zwischen verschiedenen Positionen (1 2 3 4 5) umher zu wechseln. Diese hier repräsentieren lediglich die Planken, auf denen Zidane läuft und entspringen meiner Fantasie. Es sind nur Beispiele. Ich schätze, ihr könnt euch irgendwelche anderen Muster ausdenken und benutzen.
   
   
   
   Beginnt bei Position 1 und hämmert maximal 25-30 mal.
   
   • Wenn ihr einen Schatz ausgrabt, wechselt sofort zur nächsten Position. Nach Pos 5 geht's mit Pos 1 weiter.
     
   • Habt ihr selbst nach 30 schlägen noch nichts erhalten, wechselt zur nächsten Position.
     
   • Habt ihr den eben genannten Fehlsclhag bei zwei Positionen hintereinander, ladet den Spielstand neu (oder speichert erst, wenn ihr eure Schätze sichern wollt). Dann versucht es erneut.

Habe diese Methode 5 mal ausprobiert und war im Schnitt in unter 5 min am Ziel... Glück?! Vielleicht :D Aber 5 schnelle Treffer stimmen mich zuverlässig.

The speed booster helps tremendously here. I got mine in less than five minutes but I did restart the minigame for another potion.

Got it after one reload and about 4 minutes. No idea how the RNG on this works but having a bit of structure definitely makes it less mindless. Cheers!
