The Charred

This mod adds a new character called The Charred! He's got a short fuse!

The Charred starts with regular health and stats, but what makes him unique is the fact that he has bomb hearts!

Instead of using regular hearts, Charred regains health by picking up bombs. If that's not different enough for you, he can choose to hurt himself in order to drop infinite amounts of bombs. As long as he has health, that is! Depending on the type of bomb heart you drop, you get different effects.

Here's a breakdown of the effects of his hearts:

- Regular bomb hearts: Regular bomb (it only makes sense, really)
- Soul bomb hearts: Spawns a wisp
- Black bomb hearts: Anarchist cookbook effect
- Eternal bomb hearts: Crack the sky effect
- Gold bomb hearts: Turns all enemies in the current room to gold!
- Bone bomb hearts: Book of the dead effect (doesn't properly work right now)
- Rotten bomb hearts: Spawns 3 flies

Placing a bomb hurts you for 1 whole bomb heart. So effectively, it deals 2 damage if you have 4 health but only 1 damage if you have 3 health.

Unlike his counterpart, Keeper, this little guy actually properly gains Health Up from items, so the challenge will be in trying to master his playstyle, rather than having the game on hard mode on top of that!

-- IMPORTANT NOTICE --
The Binding of Isaac modding API does not currently allow you to hide the HUD elements without some major tinkering.
Because of this, when playing as Charred, you have a permanent Curse of the Unknown seed when playing.
You will see his HP just fine, it's merely a trick to render his custom health HUD.
It also means that Charred cannot suffer from the Curse of the Unknown, so it's actually also a stealth buff.

This does mean, though, that if you play another character with this mod enabled, you won't see a question mark heart at the top. Everything else should work just fine.
