SANDY SHORES

Descrição
Welcome to Sandy Shores World of Adventures! This huge park contains 10 custom coasters, including the ridiculous 138mph Surge and Krakatoa into the Volcano. Explore the 3 themed areas, Anchors Port, Coyote's Cross and the Blighted Forest.

Technical Notes: This is a huge and detailed park, it need's one hell of a PC to run at even 30 fps, the park has 9000 guests and it can support even more, if you want to take a look around to get some ideas and are not running a super computer, I'd recommend downloading the Sandy Shores (CLOSED) version, or simply close the park yourself and let everyone leave.

Build Notes: The park took about 230 hours from start to finish, it's my first park in Planet Coaster but I am a big fan of Rollercoaster tycoon so that helped, building 3D worlds is also my job (I work in the games industry) so that has been very helpful. This park is not meant to be financially sustainable and the management aspects did not have much focus, but I'd like to think a park like this could work in real life ;) At the time of writing, guests run out of money and never want to leave - but since it's sandbox mode it makes no real difference. The train is also shutdown, because with more than a single train the horn sound get's frustrating! Try turning it on and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about ;) You'll notice a flat area without rides in it, this is mostly because the performance concerns but it also allows others to expand the park if they want to, orginally the plan was to have a future themed area. Each major area has a looped pathway designed to keep the traffic flowing and reduce conjestion, but in reality this park could support 15-20k guests before that becomes an issue, maybe one day PC's could handle that :P

Credits: Although all the rides are my own designs, many of the scenery buildings (and a few stations) are from the workshop, I've used too many to list them all, but thanks to everyone who made something that I used, feel free to blog, vlog, share and comment, I'd love to hear what everyone thinks! I can't wait until my next park, but It will be about half the size!

You can head over to my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/2dchrisk/videos if you want to see some timelapse footage of me making the park and a few commentary videos.

Finally, thanks to Frontier for making this remarkable game, Youtube personalities Silvarret, Geekism and Foxy Fern for keeping me motivated during the build!

Until next time ...

Dang dude. You should submit this park on the Channel 5 Gamings discord channel. I bet Johnny will love this amazingly themed park, and I can definantly say that this is more themed than my park. But, i think mine is more compact and has more trees in it than yours tbh.

There's some really great creations on the workshop, but yours is the best COMPLETE park I've seen! I can tell that you really put a lot of work into it! It was well worth the effort! You should be proud!
