Overlord achievement

Hello:
This guide will explain strategies and tip on how to get the overlord achievement in 12 Labours of Hercules Part 5
Note: don't be frustrated if it takes you a few tries to beat a developer's time. Every sequel has increased difficulty level compared to the previous version.

Strategies and Tips

-1) Play on expert difficulty. Note: I did beat developer's time on Casual on 5.5
-2) Play shorter maps. When you play a map that is too big, you have to make too many decisions which leave open the possibilities of errors and mistakes
-3) Make sure your workers are never idle. In other words, they are doing something. Always queue up work for them by 1,2,3 (see diagram below)


-4) Do NOT build any oblisks for short maps. Since oblisk require a ton of won and gold, it is better not to build them on short maps. They are an investment which pays off in longer maps. See picture below.


-5) Some maps have a hut which allow a worker to collect resources



-6) Rather than upgrading the house for more workers, it is better to upgrade the workshop and farm.

1.1-1.10 are all fairly easy (I could not beat developer's time on 1.6)

Antipiracy achivement

Preventing thief steal your stuff:
Level 4.4

Note: You have to upgrade the workshop. Otherwise, you run out of wood and cannot finish the level. As soon as you build either the workshop or farm, thieves begin to spawn. You don't need to build farm. However, I recommend you build the workshop when you have 3 workers. Always queue up the workshop wood to avoid thieves from stealing from you
