General info
Videos are not speedruns, there's dialoque etc if someone likes to watch the game played. But i will still of course play it like it says on the guide :) Just don't except a speedrun/straight to point skipping everything else.

Take the logs from the pile, and head back inside.


Grab the wooden spoon and heab outside, towards the barn. Don't go inside the barn but continue going to left when you reach the tree, drag the spoon from the inventory to the fruit on the branch to get it.



Go back at the last screen with the house, and exit to the left side of the screen to get to a small path going up the hill. There's a nail stuck on a tree log, use the multipurpose tool also know as wooden spoon to make it a bit more loose and then pick it up. After that, continue going forward to the left.


Pick up the bucket and continue your way up the hill.



Now were at the open plains! First exit through where the arrow shows, and continue to the left at that next screen until you get to a mysterious stone, and pick the lump of salt next to it. Exit to the plains and continue left to get to the next screen.


Continue a bit to the left to see the hill with a strange statue on it, that's our next destination. Once you reach it, take the stones from the ground, investigate the flowers and notice they're completely dry. After they've gone with the wind so to speak, place the wet wood next to the statue to dry them. Then retrace your steps all the way back to the barn, and use a bucket on a cow to start milking them. after a while you've taken the cows to the open plains to let them enjoy the cool air for a while.


The wood has now dried, so go left to get to the memorial statue, pick up the dry wood and once again retrace your steps back to the house. When you reach the house, walk the grassy path to the roof, to the other side and use the stones on the broken chimney to fix it. then, get back inside the house to make the butter and cheese!

Use the nail to make a handle, after that pour the milk into the machine.


Pour the milk to the pot, add lemon and salt, put the dried logs underneath and click them again to light them up. Then use the spoon on the pot to stir.

Erlend will come and pick up the delivery next, little cutscene/conversation and then the first day is over!





First contact! {Part 2}
Video Walkthrough

When you wake up have watched the cutscene, make your way to the open plains a.k.a herding grounds, and from there to the salt stone. Pick up Lykke's cowbell from the ground.


Go back to the herding grounds and continue left to the screen with the lake and to find Lykke in serious trouble! Use the cowbell on the pier, on the metal pole few times to guide Lykke to you.


After the brief cutscene, it's time do the manure! So head back to the barn. On the way you'll be intercepted by a mysterious ship in the sky going over you, towards your cows. Turn back and go see what's up. You can't progress far because of the ships engine, click on your cows to see them kidnapped and start chasing the ships. Run left, on the next screen left past the little bridge and instead of going up the hill to the memorial statue, go lower left to reach the cliff. The ship hovers near the cliff's edge, wait until it's close and then JUMP!



Go up the slope, stay on the outer egde to get to the back of the ship, and descend the narrow slope down to get to a control panel. Use the wooden spoon on the control panel to make it a switch (gotta get me one of those wooden spoons, they're good for everything!), and use it to stop the steam. After steam has stopped, walk to the other side and use the butter on the hot metal plate to melt it to liquid.


Now it's time to go inside! Go back a bit the the first sceen of the ship, and then to the center, use the butter on this particular hatch, after using the butter, step on the hatch to fall inside.


After you're inside the ship, there's a rather long cutscene coming up. When you're given the choice to "refuse" or "bargain" it don't matter which one you choose. Refuse and you're forced to walk into the machine, Bargain and you're going there on your own free will.



Taking a stand! {Part 3}

Take the empty mug from the left table, and make your way to the left side of the screen. Walk left until you can see the broken elevator and pick the little bolt on the floor. After that press the red button on the wall and start making your way back to the previous screen, but don't cross before you see the brewer coming. After you're back at the "starting screen", quickly switch the empty glass with the full one he was brewing on. And make your way to the right.


Talk with the sewing lady, after all the dialoque options, walk a bit to the right and keep a look out for a boy peeking behind the fabric piles. Click him and see who he is! After finding out, continue to the right, down the pathway and yet down at the right side to reach the mechanic dude.


Give him the bolt, and the cold beer to make him happy and letting you borrow his power drill.
Then run all the way back to the broken elevator room/Patient room, and use the power drill on the metal thingy near the elevator to get a lighter-than-air fabric. After you've gained it, run to the room before the mechanic, and go near the yellow machine to switch screen into that one.


Use the fabric on the spinning thing straighten it, and take it out by using the power drill. Take the string to the sewing lady and watch the cutscene. When you regain control, go and stand on the left side on the age machine and watch another cutscene.

When you have regained control, go right, to the sewing lady's place and take her needle that she left behind. Then go the elevator at the patient room, take it up, and grab the rotten fruit from the altar.

After you have the fruit, go up, and from the next screen, straight to right and through the first doorway into familiar looking hallway. There are screws you have to take out with the power drill to get a bonnet, and gain access to the ventilation shafts.


Go inside the shafts, and do the right route which is: Down, up, up. You will end up at the queens room. Nothing more to do here yet than to look around. When you've excited the pipe, run all the way to the mechanic, give him the bonnet and after ask how is the repair going. Volunteer for a test pilot. The correct order to get to the floating rock is: Throttle, Button, Steer, Throttle, Button, Steer, Throttle, Button, Throttle. Once there, pick up the fruits and then exit with the hoversleds.


After gaining control, backtrack to the great hall with the age machine. Put the fresh fruits on the right, the old one in the left and pick up the results. Go to the teleporter room and take the right one to the kitchen. Give the ripe fruits to the cook to get his knife.


After gaining the knife, go to the dome with the cows. Walk to them, pick up the sleepygrass, cut the rope from the beast and capture the frog! Capturing the frog takes a few tries before Lykke comes along and helps out.


Next up, poison the water supply! At the grand hall with the age machine, take the second doorway on the right, walk to the water supply and open it by pressing the button, throw the sleepygrass inside.


No, we have to retrack once again to the big yeallow machine near the mechanic. Put the froggy sitting in the hole, and poke him (or her, i don't know) with the needle two times to make me mechanic empty his oil gun, and leaving it around. Pick it up and go to teleporter room. Go to library, and fill the oil gun with the poisoned water.


NOW! It's time to take on the queen, and free the people! Go to the ventilation shafts and into her room. Make her fall asleep by poisoning her drink with the oil gun and use the rope on the staff to get it after she falls asleep.

After the cutscene, the queen confronts you. Trying to use the staff eventually fails and you run back into the room with the water pipe access. When you're giving an option to plead or refuse. Choose refuse first, Queen will lift you high near the pipe. Use the power drill to make it loose.

After that choose plead, use the grain to block the cogs. Then plead again to tie the rope to the cogs. Lastly, use the oil gun on the rope.

Again a cutscene. When you regain control talk with people until the ship starts falling. You'll be taken on to hoversled. It's that wooden spoon that you left at the back of the ship in the beginning! There's nothing special in here, just guide the hoversled near the ledge, but not to the smoke, Ruth jumps down, and remove the spoon, it takes a few tries.

I enjoyed the game a fair bit until the end puzzle sequence with the queen. The method of solving that makes no sense to me. Unfortunately that spoils the game for me.

Thank you, I got it shortly after posting here but forgot to report back -- it was late and I was tired. You left out of your guide the necessity to make her sleep before attemping to take the staff. Your guide states:

"NOW! It's time to take on the queen, and free the people! Go to the ventilation shafts and into her room. use the rope on the staff to get it."

This is innacurate, given that she needs to be asleep first! Could you edit that in? (:
