When you added the songs to be playable on Starbound, not every song has parts that can be played via the game. Some songs would start fine, then have a gap where the game simply could not handle the sound until it reaches a point in the song where game is able to play it again.
In easier words, if all songs need to play properly, it need to be split up into different "parts" similar to how pre-loaded music in the game are sometimes split up into different instruments. If you play some of them individually, they don't start with any sound until their part in the entire track comes on, and are meant to be played with "band" function.
Mod itself is good, but some songs are going to sound incomplete.
