CP: Dark Mammalian Shipsets - Realistic Ships

Description
ATTENTION! I am no longer able to maintain or update my mods going into Patch 2.0. My PC has crashed and I don't know when I will be able to replace the broken parts. Furthermore, my personal life is in the middle of an important crossroads and I'm going to be focusing on reality. This means NONE of my mods will be updated further. They will remain as they are for Patch 1.9.

DISCLAIMER: If anyone wishes to maintain/update/continue this mod, they have my permission to do so with the understanding that credit must be given in the description of your updated mod to the original author. Always give credit where credit is due.

Original description follows:



This mod is here to allow for the Realistic Ships Heavy Dreadnought to be researched with causing infinite research glitches for other mods, like New Ship Classes, and is absolutely required for the functioning of compatibility between both mods.




If you do not have BOTH required mods listed on the right side of this mod page, do NOT download this mod.

Why? In short: without this file, Realistic Ship's Mammalian Heavy Dreadnought will not be available to any of the Dark Mammalian Shipset cultures, because the game doesn't know to give them the correct technology. If you try to use this mod patch without Dark Mammalian Shipsets, it's just useless. If you try to use it without Realistic Ships, the event will not be able to give you a tech that it doesn't know exists, and thus, causing the "infinite research" bug that causes serious issues. If you use both mods, and this will function perfectly; otherwise, you don't need this file patch.

I added in the necessary "graphical_culture'" in the RS mod & now it works. Thanks for everything. Love your work.

@Minor Inconvenience - That's not my fault. If you want to be able to use this culture, you have to UNSUBSCRIBE from this one, and subscribe to one of my NSC Patches. Tal Aran'nh has to update the mod the ship size files in order for these cultures to be usable. He hasn't returned from vacation.

If you want to fix it yourself, look at the ship size files inside my NSC-RS Patches (even the master one) and copy the graphical cultures into your base RS local mod (it's number starts with 725). If you can add the cultures from my NSC Patches into ship size files of RS, you can use any culture you want, but until Tal returns to update his mod, that's all I can do.

Thank you! However... I re-downloaded and ran a quick test (research_technologies) and the HDN is not appearing--it displays as the "colored box" look of a ship with no graphics files. I'm not knowlegdable enough to know where the likely typo'd graphic reference is hidden. Sorry.

Keep up the great work. However... I think a "dar" should be a "dmas" in the file in the on_action folder? Maybe?
