The BEST method on FIXING stuttering/ping spikes! (2017)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, today I present to you the absolute best, most efficient and working method on fixing stuttering/ping spikes and DECREASING your ping for CS:GO! This is most likely the best way of fixing your ping, I don't think I have seen anyone else do this method before. But if you have props to you! :)

Step by step guide

EVERYTIME I used to constantly vary from certain numbers of ping. From 60 to 100, etc... but there's a simple fix for this problem:


1. press your Windows key + R key to open the RUN menu


2. in your windows cmd, type in netsh wlan show settings


and one of the last things might say Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "(Should say something like Wi-Fi or something similar to that, it is probably different for everyone)"


if so...

3. type in netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="(What ever it says for you)"
It should respond with Auto configuration has been disabled on interface "Wireless Network Connection".


If it doesn't, then you might have mistyped your interface=" part. Check in your adapter settings, you might have Wireless Network Connection 2 or 3 etc.

This will definitely stop your wireless card from searching for nearby networks and updating your signal quality when you're not asking it to- which is what is causing the spikes.

You will need to turn it back on if you disconnect or need to be able to find nearby networks again. To do so change disabled to enabled from the earlier command or copy pasta

netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="(Again, what ever it says for you)"
