How to tweak GTA V to low-end computers
By Rööki-paras
This guide will hopefully allow you to run GTA V with a decent fps. These tweaks made my game run from unplayable to playable. Just to show that these work, my processor is a Dual Core Intel Pentium CPU 987. NOTE: This is a collection of what i have seen and done, some of these are from TheLowSpecGamer, so credit goes to him.

Basic settings
The lowest you can go with these are normal, and you can turn off Vsync, FXAA and MSAA. Then, turn DirectX into 10.

Advanced settings
Go into your files, go to my documents, Rockstar games, GTA V, open the settings file with notepad, and do the following:
Set "Shadowquality value" to 0
Set "Shadows_Particleshadows value" to 0
Set "reflection_mipblur value" to false
Set "lighting_fogvolumes value" to false
Then of course save the file

Even farther configurations
Search your system for notepad, and open it.
Copy/Paste this into your notepad:

start steam://rungameid/271590
timeout 60
wmic process where name="GTA5.exe" CALL setpriority "high priority"
wmic process where name="gtavlauncher.exe" CALL setpriority "idle"
wmic process where name="subprocess.exe" CALL setpriority "idle"

Save this as a .bat file
(name it and put .bat in the end)
Put this .bat file into your desktop, and next time you want to play, click on it.

The trick is that this will launch the game and set it to the highest processing priority.

Extra stuff
Go to the in-game settings, go to Audio, and turn off auto-scan for music. This boosts performance very little but it counts.

Next up: Deleting some useless stuff
Hit the windows key and R and search for "prefetch"
Delete EVERYTHING (Don't be afraid, this is not a troll)

Then, hit windows key + R again and type %temp%
Delete everything once again.

Next, go to your control panel, system, advanced system settings, performance options, click on Adjust for best performance.
You can also install the latest drivers to your system using, for example, the Intel driver update tool

The files you cant delete in %temp% and prefetch are the files your PC is using just to let others know.

Lmao then it had nothing to do with this guide. The command does not alter your game, only makes your computer run it faster.
