My "fusion code" is not optimal...
In other words, I need to optimize they way in which I created the events in fusion.
The current file works perfectly fine, I just need to re-arrange the way I do things to make it easier to understand and build upon it. I am lazy, so I want the easiest way.
I am currently trying to find the best way to create a map (found 1,000's of ways). Enemy Bullet Collision (experimented with several solutions). An AI algorithm.
I could just throw down all my messy projects as I tinker around. I am just doing the leg work and publishing what I think is the best solutions that I find.
The engine is very good, the part of my optimization is minimizing the use of Fusion Events (which depending can bog you down), and maximizing the use of FireFly Events.
Minimal programming skills, however programming skills help in knowing whats going on in the background (the optimization part). For you guys, just use my examples, and possibly make em better.
what do you mean by "Code is not optimal and is starting to become messy"
code? u mean u had to use your programming skills to create fake 3D game with this engine?
not optimal and is starting to become messy? u mean this engine is not good to use to make wolf 3D/doom like fps game?
i would like to make a fast paced shooter game in fake 3D, (having also Y mouse look). i just started to look around, having zero knowledge and experience. dont rly know what engine, tools to use and where to start...
