Glow Painted Scavenge Cans (Orange Only)

Changes the red paint stripes on the Scavenge gas cans to a pale, mildly glowing green. Adds 9 additional jerry can colours.

On the topic of the survivors collecting cans full of oils, premixed fuels and other fluids, I would like to imagine the cans would be repurposed for whatever is needed, such as fuel, diesel or water, and the original colour-coded policies ignored.
In this case, all the cans have been repurposed, with the paint stripes indicdating their importance.
Plus it's no surprise that the generators are constantly breaking down with these fatal mixes.

I wouldn't exactly classify this as a 'cheap' or 'cheat' addon. Survivors have permanent glows on all scavenge cans.
Unless you're playing Realism, then you have a slight advantage over your survivor teammates.
Or unless you play Realism Versus, then you have a considerate advantage, as you are against enemy players, not enemy AI. But to be honest though... Who even plays Realism Versus anymore?

Known Issues:
Cans can be very very shiny and reflective. It pains me to say this, but this cannot be solved. Due to the glow in the dark part of the texture, removing phong (the culprit) results in the entire can glowing in the dark (like mat_fullbright 1).

I can not fix this on my end, I'm very sorry. In fact I'm quite upset. I played with Shaders on Low due to a poor PC, which is where I developed this addon's textures. Seeing now on a better PC (with High Shaders) that my addon does not perform as advertised and I can't solve it myself for everyone's sake, it really really sucks.

The only fix is to set your Shader Detail setting to Medium. What this setting does is affect reflections. You see these on puddles, on some weapons such as the Deagle, and on some glass props. Setting this setting to Medium will not make your textures blurrier, it will not remove your shadows. It will only remove the glossy shine on things.
If lowering your video settings just for the cans is a deal breaker on you subscribing, that is okay.

CREDITS

There are 10 skins, and they will randomise every time a can is spawned. As well as when a can is destroyed and respawned. Does not apply to the first person view or cans carried by survivors. Sorry, can't get around that.
RNG and it's extensions developed by Ellie.

No, texture only. It is compatible with reanimations

Looks like I'm correct. Mixing all of these random cans of oil, diesel and kerosine isn't a good idea.

It only affects the orange w/ red stripe cans used in Scavenge based finales and the Scavenge game mode as I wanted to bring more attention to the mission objective items. I did initially replace the normal red can seen in campaigns (with the glow stripe removed), however after a few campaigns I found myself at disadvantage, as it was harder to see the darker cans. I since dropped that part of the mod.
