cs_workout port from CSGO

Gamemodes: Checkpoint, Conquer, Outpost, Hunt

  • Rehauled nav spawns and optimized them to minimize bots getting stuck
  • Removed lots of clipping area to allow players/bots to access more areas of the map including gym, racket court, basketball seats.
  • Left prop_physics and dynamics in for now, we will see how well the map performs for v1.
  • Moved objects around to create more cover and rearranged/removed props that caused trouble.

Ran only basic tests, please report any crucial bugs!

Known issue (will fix when I have time):

Fountain area from second floor has a vvis issue so bots/players may appear invisible when looking down at fountain at times. Should be a somewhat easy fix.

@the Spartan, others download map and put an external copy on fast dl server and dont use steams workshop system which is waay more convenient. I use both on my server but for new maps, I only use workshop

tried to connect to a server with this map and got an error that it differs from the server's. Have you not been updating your build #s?

Just sent the invite... BTW, I would be willing to host all of your maps for download for others who do not desire to use Workshop for what ever reason.

I run a lot of custom servers and when you run more than 1 per IP address the work shop doesn't work. I got mad at ins/steam a while back on that issue. I have 18 INS servers, 1 is DOI Mod and 13 custom servers... Workshop was just more problems that it was worth... I have tried to rename the file, but then the .nav does not work right and objects and scopes are screwed up.

@Sparkie951 I understand exactly what you're going through. Honestly, the best thing to do is host directly from workshop.. I currently host a hybrid of HTTP and Workshop. I used to do all HTTP but workshop is 10 times better because of the issue you mentioned.

All you need to do is add 815189600 in your servers subscribed file IDs, add cs_workout_v1 <gamemode> in your mapcycle file and you're done forever... Never need to download, bzip2, add new mapcycle name etc..

If you want to do a dirty fix on your side, rename the file... load it >> buildcubemaps and your done..

You will only lose the background image.. You can extract old one, rename it, and add a new one using VIDE tool.

When you make changes, can you alter the file name to V2 or V1.1, For those of us who do not use work shop, once we download the map to the server then users will not automatically get the map downloaded and thus will be kicked from the server due to server map differing from the user map. If the file name changes then the files will auto redownload. As it stands right now, I cannot run the map on my server until that happens. If I change the file names the the NAV and TXT file will not work, guns will be all goofed up and other stuff.
