Records/Performance Stats:

General Tips
  • Get as much might as you can in early game
18 might as starting attribute, max might at level 2 then proceed to max finesse next. I spend all skill points into parry then lore. Started as dual wield for both primary and secondary expertise. This way you will get fury blows and slice as starter skills.

  • Wear light gears , get 2 different sets of weapons
Because oathbreakers have extremely high defense against slash & pierce and sometimes high def against crush. One great way to find good quaility gears is not to unlock any locked stashes in early game , ignore them , come back after you hit lvl8 or higher , you will likely get blue gears or even ones with unique opt.

  • Get Arrow Armor atlevel 2 and focus on training parry then lore everytime you level up.
Create and use a combo of 2 illusion spells : Spectral Blur and Mirror Image. They does well with light gears , you have those 2 up at the same times and you will be invulnerable for like 80% of the times.

  • Use consumables ( like eating a load of them before big battles )
You can buy foods from a merchant in disfavored camp , keep in mind food doesnt restock but usually found from looting . Poison enchants for weapon in Scarlet camp , also not restock and extremely rare so use them on big fights only: DoT is extremely good in early game

  • Other than that , keep kiting enemies unless you are confident that you are strong enough
To take 3 or more enemies at once. Heres how to kite: get enemy attention then run far away to lose enemies sight then fight those who are still chasing you. All battles in Vendrien Well is kiteable , even the one in Ascension Hall, though not recommended as its supposed to be your "test" challenge.

  • Get Forge up early , just rush to Lethian's Crossing and unlock the Aurora Spire
Dont receive any quests that related to that location or you will be locked out of the spire until you are finished with that quest! Up-to-date your gears whenever you have the resources , you can use $ to buy extra resources from Revos in Moutain Spire , he restock them everytime you level up.

  • Get Infirmary next
You will get daily consumables from the spire , but you also get a master lore trainer ( 150 ranks max ).

  • These are all the general tips
I can give , if you happen to stuck at somewhere , lemme know and i might be able to help.

just started replaying this and noticed riposte doesn't work for dual wield anymore, they changed the duelist talents to be single 1hand only :<

I just took ascension hall on the rebel path with this build. It's a bit of work but once I got mirror and haste it's starting to be a breeze, had to reload a couple times from scarlet catching me on fire in the last hall fight but felt great after finally getting through it solo.

I don't think I will have too many issues.

A decent tip I didn't know about, after fighting the two mobs outside of ascension keep, explore outside the gates, I got almost two levels killing stragglers outside the keep.

Great guide.
