Pep's 4-1-4-1 possession football

Description
Hello guys,

I'm posting my 1st tactic created using most of Pep's philosopies - possession attacking football.

I used the system 4-1-4-1.

Mentality - Control
Team shape - Fluid

Pep attack start from the back with a sweeper keeper and a half back providing support to CB's.

The Sweeper Keeper will sweep up balls in front of and wide of the penalty area and initiate counter-attacking moves with direct through balls to breaking players.

Both Fulls backs set to Inverted wing back with support duty.

The Inverted Wing Back will function defensively much like a standard Full Back or Wing Back. However, while a normal Wing Back will offer width to an attack, the Inverted Wing Back will cut inside and make runs through the centre of the pitch, creating space for players around him.

Acting primarily as a central midfielder when attacking, this role is generally although not exclusively used to facilitate wide play from more advanced wingers. This makes the tactic to retain possession and work through the middle.

The Half Back looks to serve a role somewhere between that of an aggressive sweeper and a defensive midfielder. With a Half Back, the central defenders themselves will push higher up the pitch while the Half Back drops deeper than a standard defensive midfielder and, in addition to his defensive duties, looks to offer an outlet for quickly recycling possession when the team's attacking play breaks down.

Pep usually have 2 wide midfielders along with 2 play makers in middle like Nolito-Silva-Kevin-Sterling.

Now the striker is set to Complete forward with support duty.

This can be changed to False Nine. But he will drift further down and attcking would be difficult.

Note: If you have a good team, then you can change DLP to CM (A) and AP (A) to CM (A). No other changes. Goals scored will be higher.

Team Instructions.

Mixed crosses.
Run at defence - No selection. (Can be changed depending upon your players Dribblig ability)
Get stuck in.

No individual player instructions given other than sweeper keeper.

Leave opp instructions to assistant manager or coach with best tactical knowledge.

I took over as Watford manager after they entered relegation zone.
1st match was a draw against West ham 1-1. Afterwards 2 wins against Man city (2-0 away, 3-1 Home FA cup) and a win against Tottenham away 3-1. 2-2 home draw to liverpool.

Moved out of relegation zone and now in 14th place with 10 matches left.

it's a damn good tactic, i love how the Fullbacks go inside, and open a lot of space, if i can suggest changes, that worked for me, is mark on the player instructions for the wingers, they keep open, because sometimes i saw they closing to much, and the middle getting a with too much people
