Before I knew what the author was like, I used to like these maps and they gathered sort of a cult following from the community, despite their rather repetitive design. Other map authors have chimed into the whole Uboa Map thing and made their own, including Shinkichi and TakeTeppou.
As people, Shinkichi is a nice person. TakeTeppou's okay, but I've had some bad personal experiences with him. As for enuze, I have reasons to believe he is mentally unstable, as he often comes up with false delusions and rants about them, as well as tries to stalk and shame people he chooses to dislike.
TL;DR The maps come from Japanese memes, and the author is a stalker and a troll.
