Description
This mod adds tilesets and portraits for AI and Tomb Worlds, and a ringworld tileset.

About
Stellaris currently uses the tundra tileset and portrait for Tomb Worlds and the tropical tileset and portraits for Ringworlds. This mod aims to add unique tilesets and portraits for each of these. I have decided upon a green hued blasted wasteland for Tomb Worlds.

Changes
  • Gaia world tileset
  • Tomb World portrait
  • Tomb World tileset
  • AI world tileset
  • Ringworld tileset

Updates
  • Gaia world tileset no longer needed

Other mods:

Compatibility
This mod makes changes to Stellaris\common\planet_classes\00_planet_classes.txt, specifically pc_gaia and pc_nuked classes.

Is this purely aesthetic (as in, can it work in MP with no mismatching?)

@Sam Confirmed, it works perfectly now. Thanks for the quick fix! :D

Ah yes, I replaced my portrait with the vanilla one when it was eventually released. It appears the city texture was still turned off. Your original issue should be fixed.

@Sam In that case I have a different bug to report: your custom ringworld portrait isn't working at all. I've just been getting the default Gaia appearance all along. D: The tomb world stuff works perfectly so I doubt it's a mod conflict.

That is intentional. The texture reuses the vanilla habitat texture, which is not layered like planet textures, and does not draw the city background.

Plus, the cities overlaid on that texture looks hideous.

Love the mod, but one small problem I noticed: it disables the city background on ringworlds. I assume that wasn't intentional? :P

I'm wondering about compatibility with mods like Planetary Diversity and Reworked Planetary Diversity. Since you alter stuff for Tomb Worlds in the file, perhaps a compatibility patch is a simple matter.

The portrait is actually vanilla Stellaris. It has the tropical layers with a ringworld sky background.

Thanks for the mod! Though I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional: the new Ringworrld tiles look great, but the overall planet type picture when you select is still the tropical one.

It does two things. Replaces existing textures, which is never incompatible with anything really. And makes changes to planet_classes to add the textures for Tomb Worlds. This will be what is causing the conflict as all planets are defined in one file. I think there has been a change to modding which could fix this, I'll look in to it.
