Description
If you are like me, and you FINALLY got your own baby Drake... Joy! and then noticed it kinda sucked. It does great damage, but really dies pretty easily -- no shields, evasion that won't matter much... you were pretty disappointed.

Considering just how much work and luck is involved with getting the damn thing, and its not nearly as good as the Automated Dreadnought.. bleh.

This mod sets its max HP to 14000 (from 10k) and ups its evasion from 25 to 50. That should make it pretty good, considering the poor thing doesn't have shields.

OK for 2.0 it should give the etherdrake very good evasion then +50% more armor and hitpoints.

It does not effect the proper Guardian Ether Drake.

Oh yeah, spoilers. You can get a Baby Ether Drake, lol ;)

(Note: the game rates its fleet power crazy high, but its really not like, as powerful as that number suggests)

-- Due to some recent revelations about how armor penetration works, its armor is upped chunk too. AP weapons will still hurt him but probably not quite so badly. Which 1.4 just invalidated. Well, whatever, it caps. :)

-- Updated this for 2.0.2 data files. Since 2.0.2 removes the ability to place unique's like the Drake in fleets entirely I've tweaked it so the Drake always just spawns with the Psi Jump Drive by default. Which is honestly the only drive that makes sense for a Drake anyway...

-- Updated for 1.4.x
-- Added Levithans as required DLC, because... its required.
-- Updated for 1.5.x
-- Lowered evasion bonus by 15. It doesn't need that much of a boost anymore. I think :)
-- Updated for 1.8.x :)
-- Updated for 2.0.x :)

any chance youd make a mod that has them grow up? even with this mod they arent that amazing. takes like 200 years to get one after killing a drake.

I've never heard of "simulated dragonspawn"... but its in the localization files, but I don't see its stats anywhere. That's interesting, I'll have to read the actual event that is related to it and see whats going on there. Interesting!

Does this change the other drakes referred to as "Simulated Dragonspawn" in the code? It would be nice if they were all changed by this. Thanks,

SalasDoom@ The Young Ether Drake should have the fleet power, health, damage output, stats of The Bigger Ether Drake at minimum.

You’d think that they’d make the hooks they used for auto upgrade of the civilian ships available to modders for other designs to auto upgrade.
JameJame  [author] Mar 9, 2018 @ 3:10pm
Yeah I don't know why they don't just allow you to upgrade the drives of event ships. Its kinda baffling since it shouldn't even be a big change. It would sure make life easier..

Does the psi drive prevent merging? I’ve previously been able to merge fleets with and without jump drives, just with losing the ability to jump the combined fleet.

Ugh with Paradox and their unnecessary changes.

I don't think so ;( You just have to manually keep your Drake near other fleets unfortuantely. I can look into it again, but it'll have to revert from always having a psi jump drive.
