A guide on where to find the Treasure Pods and their rewards. Fully updated to 1.2 including the Vaults, Wilds, Nimble Valley and the Slimeulation

Intro and FAQ

Greetings everyone I'm JK3 and welcome to my first Steam guide.

I'll be helping you all with finding those Hidden Treasure Pods in Slime Rancher through pictures. As an added bonus, I will be adding pictures of the recipes along with screenshots of the decoration and Fashion Pod ones. But first lets get the Q&A out of the way.


Q: Why make a guide using only text and pictures and not a video?
A: Mostly because since Slime Rancher is not fully done. Things can change like new additions or changed areas (Moss Blanket is the prime example). This will make it easier for updating the guide as the game grows instead of trying to play a New Game or Speedrun of it over and over again.

Q: Why is there some text overlapping in the pictures? I can't read them!
This seems to be a current issue with the Steam Web Browser, mostly related to clicking on my guide from the Guide Section. Try Refreshing the page when on the guide or deleting the web browser cahce for Steam in the Steam Settings.

Q: OMG How diD U get 2 DaT spot in that one pic at 100 Energy?! HaX!!
A: Yes I cheated in the screenshots with Infinite Energy for the sake of getting better angles to show things and to make this guide faster without having to raise tons of money or pop many Gordos

Q: Will you update this guide when more Treasure Pods get added
A: Of course! I'll eventually add a version history to note what Pods were added

Q: Can i help with the guide in the future?

Q: Got any tips for our farms? (People were asking this)
A: This is how i do my setup for those wanting some ideas. (Currently outdated until Drones)

Main Area: 4 Gardens (Slime favorite foods), 2 Ponds, 2 Coops (1 Briar, 1 Stony)
Grotto: All Slime Corrals: Pick your favorite Largo Combinations so you can farm every Plort except Pink. Don't combine meat eaters or meat with Crystal. Have a Dozen in each corral
Lab: All Silos
Overgrowth: 50+ Free Roaming Pink slimes (No Pink largos as clogging the vac gets time consuming) with 4 Gardens WITHOUT Scareslimes of Carrots, Pogofruit, or Odd Onions. Using a Warp Depot for extra carrying, i can get 150+ Pink Plorts a day from this setup. Update: As of the Ruins i made the Pinks Quantum hyrbrids and swapped the Warp Depot with a Refinery Link

I placed Extra Puddle Slimes scattered at the Indigo Spa, so long as you don't sleep or ignore them too much they won't despawn making a great extra puddle spot without using up extra Farm Plots, occaisonally if you have too many there, you'll have to split them up so they will still produce plorts. Water Turret just in case a Tarr gets any ideas

For where I place my extractors
6 Pumps at the Overgrowth Warp where the Tabby Gordo was (With a water turret nearby since Tarrs can be common)
6 Drills at the Grotto Warp Teleporter where the Rock Gordo was
6 Apiaries at the path from the Mushroom Lake to the Broken Bridge (With a teleporter from the farm to the Lake and a water turret for the frequent tarr outbreaks)

He likes Classic Rock, used to have a 5 o'clock shadow when he was a Tabby, and enjoys Chuck Norris films. He's our personal little pamper slave mascot for this guide and has a promising future in Pet shows

v1.0 - Treasure Vaults introduced. Because these hold a HUGE amount of Treasure Pods (46!). For these I grouped them into a section for each Vault, and added a Basic section talking about these Vaults and how to get into them. These will be added at the end of their respective zone/biome since you'll be making multiple trips to these alone

The Ranch Green Pod 1: 5 Deep Brine, 3 Hexacomb, 1 Strange Diamond

v1.1 - The Wilds update. A small new area was added dubbed The Wilds. 9 More Pods are found there. There is no map for this area so this has been noted for the Map section (also no official Pod count). Also because you are teleported to 1 of 4 random spots when entering it (though they are rather close to each other). I have added a small bit so everyone can meet up at the same point at the First Pod section.

Basic Pod Info & Treasure Crackers

Treasure Pods are hidden all throughout the Far Far Range containing new blueprints for slime science. While most are cosmetic decorations of the various plant and rock formations there are some more useful things like Warp Depots and Teleporters, and who know what else in the future for Slime Rancher

There are 4 Tiers of Treasure Pods


Green - Requires MKI Cracker
Blue - Requires MKII Cracker
Black - Requires MKIII Cracker

and Gold which is a premium DLC from the Secret Styles pack





Treasure Crackers are an upgrade you need to buy in order to open these. And can be quite expensive. ( Note: Gold Pods do NOT need a treasure cracker)

Unlocking Treasure Crackers for Pods

(Moved to its own section because apparently everyone missed this >_<)

Treasure Crackers become available to buy based on the number of Gadgets you make in Slime Science. 1 for the Green, 20 for the Blue and 50 for the Black. So that means having the Lab unlocked in order to do this of course. Extractors, especially Novice Tier are the easiest to make to contribute to your total (and what caused everyone to think it was originally Extractor cycles, and it makes sense as to why I got didn't get my upgrades from cycles)

Extractor cycles have nothing to do w/unlocking treasure pods. Just fabricate lots of gadgets. Doesn't matter what. Have fun! #SlimeRancher

Treasure Vaults: The Whats and Hows

What

Treasure Vaults are super special Post-game areas, accessed via teleporters, that have a ridiculous amount of Black Treasure Pods. Each one contains Gold Plorts (7-10 with one exception) letting you swim in money.



Some of them require you to hit a switch in order to find them all in the vault.
Each vault will also require 1 Slime Key and its also highly recommended to bring food for various reasons

How

These vaults cannot be accessed normally and will appear as nothing special until you "beat" the game and let the credits roll.




There are 2 requirments to complete the game.
(Both give achievments if you haven't already gotten them)

1. Read the last letter of Hobson at the very end of the Glass Desert.

In the very back of the Glass Desert (Close to Black Pods 10 & 11 for reference) is a big newly added area with a trail of letters of Hobson.







Reading the last one at the end of this pathway triggers the 1st requirement (if it didn't trigger you may need to read the other ones just before it).

2. Read all of Casey's Letters in your mailbox at your house.

These will appear over time and some may need read before the next can pop up. The last one will only pop up after reading Hobson's Last Letter and you read all the previous letters from Casey

This one is the last letter from Casey




If you completed them both, then the credits will roll. Just sit back and watch the art and listen to the music.



Shortly after you move around again you'll get one more letter of Hobson talking about 3 Treasure Vaults.



This triggers the vaults to open up and you can now enter them

The 3 Vaults are located in the Dry Reef, Moss Blanket, and the Indigo Quarry. I listed them as the last Pod entry of each zone in this guide so please refer to them for the exact location and to see what to do in them. Search Treasure Vault (Ctrl +F) in this guide if you are having trouble.

Treasure Pod Map

Frigidus has made a map of the important things using the in-game map that was added in v.1.0.1 like the Treasure Pods
Its not perfect, its missing the Mustache and Vault locations, but Frigidus did a fantastic job at it.
It was too time-consuming and frustrating for me to do it with the curren't map's innacurracies in-game. So again Kudos to Frigidus for a job well done

UPDATE: The Wilds does NOT have a map so Frigidus couldn't update his map even if he wanted to for this area

The Ranch: Green Pod 1 (5 Deep Brine, 3 Hexacomb, 1 Strange Diamond)

As of the Navigation update, A green Pod can be found behind the Lab giving you a nice taste on the rewards to come ands its a perfect start to your 1st Teleporter (Pink)

Dry Reef: Green Pod 1 (Sponge Shrub)

Recognize this spot? Of course you do, every slime rancher who at least left the ranch should recognize this spot since its the first area you come across. But did you ever notice that oddly low wall in the back by the pogofruit tree? Well jump over it, it is not there to keep you from flinging yourself into the Slime Sea.







See, it hides a secret area. That center higher spot spawns Heart Beets. Look around in that area and you'll find your first pod hiding in the corner

Dry Reef: Blue Pod 1 (Violet Teleporter)

Continuing off from the Dry Reef: Green Pod 1



See that Arch Island in the distance? Look really closely on the left side and you see something blue, yup that's a Blue Pod.




There's a hill in that area you can climb to get a better look and have better height to jetpack over, you may also need an energy capacity upgrade to make it there and back safely

Dry Reef: Black Pod 1 (2 Deep Brine & 1 Lava Dust)

Before Leaving this hidden spot, there's one more Hidden Pod added in 0.4.2.

Look off the edge for a ledged path just above sea level, it leads to a small hidden cave with some More Heart Beets, a Water Source and the Black Pod.



Follow the path to get back out by the 1st Pink Gordo

Dry Reef: Blue Pod 2 (Pink Coral Columns)

Another familiar area to slime ranchers, they most likely encountered their first rock or tabby here. And the entrance to the Indigo Quarry is on the right in that cave. But did you ever notice that high ledge near the pogofruit tree and water spout?


A Blue Pod hiding in the grass up on that ledge, the jetpack should just be enough to fly high enough to get there.

Dry Reef: Green Pod 2 (Violet Slime Lamp)

Continuing from the last Pod or down the main path. If you already know where the Phosphor Gordo is then just look there for the pod. If you don't know where it is read on.


You'll be going through this hollowed thing



and out to here. See the small wall on the edge...well jump off we go



Don't go past the skull sign and into death, turn around and look at the wall


its a small opening, go in and meet the Phosphor Gordo, but the Phosphor Gordo is no longer alone...



He now lives with a Treasure Pod, maybe he plays with it as a ball

Dry Reef: Green Pod 3 (3 Spiral Steam)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



After leaving the Phosphor Gordo cave. Make a mad dash past the feral Largo area i previously told you to ignore.



As you climb up the rocks, next to the Slime Gate is a Pod

Dry Reef: Green Pod 4 (Sponge Tree)

Head back into this familiar area in the Dry Reef. Most people found there first Tabby slime, Stony Hens or chicks, or Cuberries here. Go by the water spout.


See that strange wall? If you jumped over that wall and drowned yourself than I'm laughing at you right now. Do you see how its climbs up like a ramp, well jump on it and use it as one to climb up to where it leads.

Dry Reef: Green Pod 5 (Coral Grass Patch)

If you already unlocked and enabled the Overgrowth teleporter you can skip the first part of this. But for other readers, we are heading to the Tabby Gordo near the last Pod.


Head to the bridge on the right side of this picture near the water spout mentioned from the last Pod. But don't cross it, head right to find the Tabby Gordo.


Just a little bit next to it in the corner is the Pod

Dry Reef: Blue Pod 3 (3 Spiral Steam)

When you unlock the Overgrowth expansion, you'll find a semi-new opening leading to a new area


As soon as you start going down the hills, Look to the right (Left side in the picture below) for a small Carrot Patch and a Blue Pod

(Continuing from Last Pod)

As you explore this area past the Overgrowth expansion, look out into the Sea on the islands to find


A strandad Tabby Gordo. Pop him to reveal a Teleporter to an area known as Ring Island.



This area is a little big to describe, but I'll do the best I can, Just ahead is a small pond with a stream going into a cave. Go into it and continue following this path for a while around the shore and across a bridge.



After the Bridge, Look around on the left side (Right in the picture below) to find a small cave with the Black Pod.

Dry Reef: Blue Pod 4 (2 Deep Brine & 1 Lava Dust)

(Continuing from last pod)



Keep going from the bridge and up the hill to another Bridge



And You'll run into a Pink Gordo that was added in the Slime Science Patch.



We'll be going into that cave shortly, but for now go to those rocks at the far left of it.



And you'll find a spot around the corner holding a Pod

Dry Reef: Green Pod 6 (Violet Depot)

(Continuing from Last Pod)


Now we can go through the cave near the Pink Gordo at the top of Ring Island (top right in picture above)


Use the rocks on the right when coming out of the cave (left side of the picture above) to climb up to the ledge, then fly over the the other side to find the pod behind a tree

Dry Reef: Blue Pod 5 (Spring Pad)

After unlocking the Grotto Ranch Expansion, look for a cave on the far end to find a teleporter (that leads to the Indigo Quarry for those that unlocked it. But we are not taking the teleporter today. Look around the edges and out to the sea for some recently added things.


There is now a pathway leading down along the side followed by a series of small islands to traverse with the jetpack, slowly jetpack from island to island to reach the bridge in the far back.


The Blue Pod is easily in view once you make it, but beware the Ferals that may spawn in the area.

Dry Reef: Green Pod 7 (2 Deep Brine & 1 Lava Dust)

(Contuing off from the last Pod)



Behind the last Pod you can continue along this path. You'll need to climb up, or else you'll loop around back in a cave. A reminder to watch out for the Ferals in the area while doing so.



As you continue along, you'll leave the Feral area across some small jumps to a dead end holding the pod.

Dry Reef: Treasure Vault (14 Black Pods = 140 Gold Plorts)

To learn how to make these Vaults appear please read the Whats and Hows section near the beginning of this guide



Dry Reef's Treasure Vault is located at the Top of Ring island before you make the jump to Green Pod 6)





After opening the Slime Door, you'll go down a long hallway to find a switch and the 1st 4 Black Treasure Pods. Flip the switch, set your Vacpack to a food item and insert the Indiana Jones theme.



A large number of Feral Largo's will come down from the ceiling, retreat back to the hallway while feeding the ferals and you'll see the Hallway opened up revealing an area below for the other 10 Black Treasure Pods.



Once again make sure you feed the ferals because they will go down there making your life difficult. More Ferals will also spawn if you take too long on your trips bringing the loot back.

Slime Sea: Blue Pod 1 (Red Slime Lamp)

On the way to the Entrance to the Moss Blanket. You always passed this area, at night Feral Pink Phosphors spawned and there's a lone cuberry tree. But as of v0.4.1 a new area can be accessed using the lone rock on the left of the picture



Looking out to the see and you'll see several new rock islands. You'll need at least 200 energy to make across the first gap. After making over said gap use the nearby spots to get on the higher rock formation in this island to find the pod

Slime Sea: Black Pod 1 (Handlebar Fashion Pod)

(Continuing off from the last Pod)
There's a really noticable island when checking out the v0.4.1 new area.


Only a tiny rock island from the last Pod is in sight thats not close enough to that mysterious island. Well get to it anyway.



The warp to the island was there all along. Take it and follow the simple straight path of steps up to your reward.



Don't worry he won't roll after you Indiana Jones style when you take the loot. He is a gentleman after all

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 1 (Dandy Fashion Pod)

Everyone who entered the Moss Blanket knows this area, but this little Pond area has a few secrets. Head to the right corner of this picture.



Use the lower rock to fly up to the roots of these high perched trees and you'll find a Black Pod hiding in the grass.

We're not done here yet. At the steps leading out, you can fly up to some higher ledges. And you'll find an exit leading back to the Moss Blanket Entrance.



Underneath the bridge taking you out holds a Pod

As you leave the Pond area you'll enter a much larger one. What we are looking for is that high area on the left of the picture above with a Stone Ring Water Spout, you can try using the stones nearby to fly up or the other elevated areas.


Hidden behind the nearby tree is the Pod

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 2 (2 Wild Honey, 1 Royal Jelly)

Not too far from the previous Pod in the same area is a small pathway leading to some Feral Pink Boom slimes (noted by the skull sign in the distance). Make a note of the hollow log in the picture above, we'll be going to that for the next pod after this. But for now get closer to the Feral Pink Boom area.



Ignore the Feral Area and go right instead and keep going to a ramp and a tree.



Behind one of the roots of the tree has a Black Pod.

Moss Blanket: Green Pod 2 (Wildflower Patch)

(Continuing from the last Pod)



Now go back to the Log by the Feral Sign mentioned in this guide's last section and go through it.


Just past the log is a spot to drop down to with the Pod nestling cozily in the flower patch

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 3 (Smart Fashion Pod)

There's several ways to get this one added in v0.4.1 (its even possible to get here from the Mustache Mysterious island teleporter but i've only been able to pull it off once so i would not recommend it) I will post the easier way that uses less energy.


Back at the entrance of the large area near the start of the Moss Blanket. Go completley straight.


This was a common area to grab Mint Mangos, if you fly up from here you can see the Honey Gordo up above and there's a broken bridge nearby as well (make a note of it for later). Use the high areas around here to jetpack over to the Honey Gordo and look around



Off to the sea is a large rock formation but it now has some spots to land as you look further on the edge of it.



About 150 energy should be enough to get there and back



The other way was a newly added spot at the nearby broken bridge near the 1st picture of this section of the guide and you use the small rocks to encircle the island from the other side (I'm leaving this method here in case the easier method is removed)

Moss Blanket: Blue Pod 2 (3 Hexacombs)

(Continuing off from the last Pod)



Head over to the Broken Bridge mentioned several times from the last section of this guide,



This time fly over to the other side instead of the lone Rock.



As you continue along you'll find a Mushroom area where the Original location of the Hunter Slimes Spawn. If you reach it you actually went too far. Back track a little and look for the larger ledge you went around to find a blue Pod hiding

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 4 (Jumbo Shroom)

Now head to the bunch of mushrooms where the orignal Hunter spawns in past the last Pod and look at the lake on the right side.


Deep underwater by the tree holds the Black pod (just above the right side of the health bar in the picture)

Moss Blanket: Blue Pod 3 (Glow Cones)

Continuing from the last Pod


Going past the Mushroom Lake at the edge, look down to find some wooden paths and bridges. Would you kindly take them?


You'll find some Wooden Diagonal Platforms to cross taking you on top of the Feral Pink Boom passage. At the bottom of these platforms hides the Blue Pod

Moss Blanket: Green Pod 2 (2 Wild Honey, 1 Royal Jelly)

Climb up the Diagonal Wooden Bridges mentioned in getting the last pod, and you'll wind up on top of the Feral Boom area mentioned way back several sections ago. The Ferals may be able to reach you so be prepared



Look around up there and you'll find an easy to spot Pod (by the Feral in the back of the picture).

Moss Blanket: Green Pod 3 (Amber Slime Lamp)

Quickly go through the Feral Pink Boom passage to find a lovely flower field


In the back corner of the field holds the Green Pod

Moss Blanket: Blue Pod 4 (Amber Depot)

If you know where the One-Way Warp back to the ranch is, head there. If not and continuing from the last Pod in this guide, head through the Hollowed log.


The One-Way warp is further down the path past where the stream ends, but we are not taking the warp home yet. See the Bridge?


Underwater below it hides the Blue Pod

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 5 (Shady Fashion Pod)

Head to the One-way warp back to the Ranch but instead turn around and head back until you reach the Log



To the Right of the Log is a Bridge, but we are not taking it yet



Look under the log and you'll find a Pod

Moss Blanket: Green Pod 4 (Mossy Tree Stump)

(Continuing from the last Pod)


Fly back up from the last Pod and now continue along the bridge for a new dangerous area


Feral Hunter Largos are all over the place, especially at night (Sometimes Honey Hunters, sometimes Boom Hunters). So make sure you have several health upgrades and food on hand. What you are looking for is the small hollowed log on the right of the picture, Its just after the 2nd broken bridge you fly over.


Climb on top of the highest part of the log and fly onto the Tree then the rocks in the back of the picture, to get up on top of that ledge.


The Pod is in the middle

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 6 (Amber Teleporter)

Out in the sea near the 2nd broken bridge of the new Feral Hunter Area mentioned from the last pod is a small island with several small stone rings and sometimes a crate. Further off in the distance is a tall stump, getting on top of that stump is your challenge. Pay special attention to that small tree on the small stone ring island and the other Taller tree for later. Another important note is you will need a Fully maxed out Energy Tank for this (250)



Head back to the small Hollowed log mentioned before and get back on top of it (You can see the small stone ring island in the top left of the picture for reference). Fly onto the tree in front, but instead of going to the rocks, fly more to the left to that ledge in the distance, to the right of the left tree in the picture.


This will take you right next to the tree of the small stone ring island. Now see those mushrooms on that tree in the middle that i mentioned to take note of, fly onto those


Get onto the higher of the mushrooms, wait until your energy meter is at 250, and fly to the mushrooms on the side of the tall stump. When you make it climb the other higher mushrooms to get on top of the stump.


Enjoy this hard to find reward.

Moss Blanket: Black Pod 7 (Red Depot)

Continue fully through the New Feral Hunter Largo Area mentioned in the previous Pod Locations. Eventually you'll go through a Larger Hollowed log and fly over a 3rd broken bridge to covered grassy field



Continue past that and slimes will start to be basic ones again, and then you'll see some paths climbing upward.


Taking this path all the way will drop you off right near the One-Way Warp back to the ranch, so do not go too far. Near the end of this path you'll have to jump over a gap.


Instead fall down for some stone rings and the Black Pod.

Moss Blanket: Green Pod 5 (3 Hexacombs)

(Continuing from the last Pod)



Just a few islands over from the Last Pod (Black, left side of the picture), is another Pod hiding in the back (Green, right side of the pic)

Moss Blanket: Treasure Vault (11 Black Pods = 110 Gold Plorts +..)

To learn how to make these Vaults appear please read the Whats and Hows section near the beginning of this guide




You'll find the Moss Blanket Vault in the Grassy covered field mentioned on the way to Black Pod 7 a little bit ago.

Once inside load up on food an prepare to shoot the wavse of Gold Slimes that spawn.



After you are done with this little "minigame" head to the end of the room to easily find all the black Pods (3 columns of 2 and 5 in the center)

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 1 (Hexium Formation)

When entering the Indigo Quarry, you always first came across this area, but the sides of here don't have anything special...or so you think, check out the left side.



Slightly blocked off, there's a higher ledge you can fly to nearby with a Pod



Alternatively in the current version: You can also head past the One-Warp back to the Ranch of the Indigo Quarry to the Construction sign, you can easily see it from there and fly to it with a Maxed out Jetpack

Indigo Quarry: Green Pod 1 (3 Slime Fossils)

If you were heading to the Cave with the Rock Gordo lately, if you weren't paying attention, you can walk right by this easy to spot Pod

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 2 (Royal Fashion Pod)

If you unlocked the Indigo Quarry you've already met or popped the Rock Gordo in the Cave near the beginning and used the bottom cave exit to continue exploring the Quarry, but don't head out of there this time. There's a few Treasure Pods hiding in this room.



Look in the far Corner behind some stalagmites for a Black Pod

Indigo Quarry: Green Pod 2 (Minty Grass Patch)

(Continuation of the Previous section)



The Second Treasure Pod in this Room is near the exit to continue along the Indigo Quarry


In the patch of grass near the exit has an easy to spot Pod.

Indigo Quarry: Green Pod 3 (Blue Coral Columns)

After leaving the Cave that has the Rock Gordo holding the Grotto Teleporter. Go up the right path in the picture


When at the top of this hill. Using the Jetpack to go to the higher ledges take you to the Right entrance to the Volcanic Caves. We are not going in there yet. A Green Pod hides next to some Coral Colums

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 3 (2 Indigonium, 1 Strange Diamond)

Okay you know how i was talking about the Entrance to the Volcanic Caves? Ready to go in there? NOPE! Remember how i said it is the Right Entrance?. Well walk along up there toward the Left Entrance.



Along the way there'll be a Black Pod almost right inbetween the two entrances.

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 1 (Crystal Cluster)

Continuation of Previous Pod locations

Now you may head into the Right Cave of the Volcano Cave previously mentioned and you'll see the Blue Pod perched on a spot right when you come in.

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 2 (2 Indigonium, 1 Strange Diamond)

Along the main path after leaving the Cave with the Rock Gordo/Grotto Teleport. You'll come across a Spa-like area with Puddle Slimes



In the corner of this little spa is a Pod trying to relax after a hard day's work. (Right near the Left Entrance to the Volcanic Caves)

Indigo Quarry: Green Pod 4 (2 Indigonium, 1 Strange Diamond)

Continue through the main path of the Indigo Quarry (Past the Rock Gordo with the Grotto Teleporter and the Puddle Slime Spa) and cross the broken bridge.


Instead of continuing through the Feral Rad area, look along the edges of this for a bridge path that leads to A 2nd Rock Gordo,



But we don't need to pop him yet since a Pod is right next to him. I heard that Gordo named it Billy

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 3 (Fireflower Patch)

(Continuing off from the previous Pod location)



Go ahead and pop this Rock Gordo to reveal a teleporter to a Volcanic Island


Like the Ring Island of Dry Reef, this place is a little big for pictures (but again i will post a few).
This time however you are sticking to the ground level (Right path in the picture)


Look for a rock formation with a spiral-staircase like path on it.


When you are at the top, jump on top of this rock formation to find the Pod on some Fireflowers

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 2 (Red Teleporter)

Head to the higher areas of the Volcanic Island by flying over from the spiral-staircase-like path of the Rock formation mentioned in the previous pod. and enter the opening on the right.


You'll encounter a Stone Ring in the middle of a Fireflower ring, ignore it and take the path behind it and look for an opening on the walls (Top right of the picture)


Look around there and you'll see a broken bridge, cross it to find the Black Pod

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 4 (Serious Fashion Pod)

Head back through the main path of the Indigo Quarry (Past the Rock Gordo with the Grotto Teleporter and the Puddle Slime Spa), cross the broken bridge. (Or return back to this area if coming from the Volcanic Island)



Start going past the Skull sign and enter the Feral Rad Largo area, Halfway through the area...



Look along the way for a hidden ledge path to the pod

Indigo Quarry: Black Pod 3 (Green Depot)

(Continuing off from the Previous section)


Head back to the beginning of this Feral Area near the Skull sign. Did you ever notice the wooden bridges above? Use the nearby crystal Formations to fly up to the higher area and cross those wooden bridges, there are still Feral Rad spawns up here so be ready


The end of this upper path seems like a waste of time with almost nothing there but take a look to the left. Off in the distance on a high rock formation is the Black Pod, you'll need a high energy tank to get over there to claim it

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 4 (Green Teleporter)

If Continuing from the last pod you can actually drop down behind the Black Pod for a Cave to the Rad Gordo and skip to the end of this section. Or if you already know where the Rad Gordo is you can skip to the end as well. If Neither of these are to you then keep reading.

Go through the main path of the Indigo Quarry: Through the Grotto Teleport Rock Gordo Cave, past the Puddle Slime Spa, Broken Bridge etc.


After taking the low path of the Feral Rad Section, you'll come across a cicular room that has one side with water. Take the left path in the picture above.


When you hit the Hexagon Crystal Formation make a left into the cave. Here you'll meet Mr. Rad Gordo.


He left a present behind him and it's much better than a Rad plort

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 5 (Green Slime Lamp)

Head to the Rad Gordo Cave as mentioned in the last section of this guide. But take a right at the hexagon crystal formation.


This will take you to some wooden scaffolding and some wooden ramps but look underneath the ramp and you'll find the Final Pod of v0.4.0

Indigo Quarry: Blue Pod 6 (3 Slime Fossils)

You though that was it?! You are wrong, we still got one more to grab from a v0.4.2 update. At least this is an easy one.



At the One-Way Warp back to the ranch go up the hill to the construction sign and on the way you'll easily find the current last Treasure Pod of 0.4.2.

Indigo Quarry: Treasure Vault (21 Black Pods = 141 Gold Plorts)

To learn how to make these Vaults appear please read the Whats and Hows section near the beginning of this guide




The Indigo Quarry's Vault is located in the center of the Fireflower ring at the top of the Volcanic Island that was mentioned way back for getting to Black Pod 2



After opening the door. Hobson decides to troll you with a single Black Pod holding a single Gold Plort. So make sure to blow all his dough on some stupid cosmetic item to shove it in his face as we solve this puzzle.



In the back side of the room you can find a hidden switch underneath, then insert your favorite Angelic Choir as you take in the view.

Ancient Ruins: Green Pod 1 (Sunburst Tree)

Once you enter the Ruins, flip the switch and take the door that opens in front of it down below.
(An important note, these switches afffect all doors closing some and opening others, so if a pathway is blocked when following this guide, find a switch nearby)
Go along, flip another switch to continue, and keep going until you head into an open area with Quantum Slimes



Once you reach here head to the far back and look to the right.



And you'll find a tree with the blueprint's Pod at its base.

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 1 (3 Spiral Steam)

(Continuing off from the last Pod)



In the center of this room is another switch, and next to it are a double-decker-like doors. Press the switch if needed and head into here.



This room seems useless but did you notice that odd jump before heading here?



It just had another door presembly taking you back, it is so not. So press the switch from that useless-looking room and look back into it.



The door down below opens revealing a small hidden room with the Pod

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 1 (2 Deep Brine, 1 Lava Dust)

Back at the "not-really-useless-room", head up the ramp back outside



At the farthest edge you can fly around to find another small alcove Pod

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 2 (Echo Net)

(Contuing from the last pod)



As you leave the last area, you'll be on the top floor of the center area of the Ruins (Dropping down will actually take you back to the center area of the 1st Pod, the bottom floor). Head to the far back of this picture, look for that high arched door thats almost on a floating island as a guide (Top left in the pic)



We are actually NOT going for the pod near the arch door for now. Look down below, see that luscious red booty. That's a Boom Gordo's Booty. But as of 0.5.1 we are NOT GOING FOR THIS ONE YET EITHER! Standing on the little grass bridge I'm standing on in the picture above, turn to your Right.



If you look closely at those Vines you can see a hole to a room as an old-school secret room trick. So fly in to find this rare hard to find reward

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 2 (3 Slime Fossils)

Now we can go for that Boom Gordo. Since he's Mooning us, you can't feed him on that side, but there's a door right nearby that takes around to his frontside (Flip a nearby switch if needed, the door is right under the archway I'm standing on in the pic above)



Right in front of him is his own Pet pod

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 3 (Ruined Pillar)

(Continuing off from the last pod)



After meeting the Boom Gordo, head out but ignore the ramp back up and continue along this bottom floor's path.



Shortly after, you'll find some large pillars that you have to hop over for both floors.



In the corner near the 1st one you touch, is another hidden spot to fly over with a Pod

Ancient Ruins: Green Pod 2 (Verdant Grass Patch)

(Continuation of the last pod)



Start hopping over the pillar bases mentioned in the last Pod location



After the 2nd or 3rd one, Look to the left for a small island with the next Pod

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 4 (3 Hexacombs)

(Continuing from the last Pod)



Finish crossing over the bases of the pillars from the Last Pod and you'll find some ramps taking you back up. Now start hopping over on TOP of the Pillars.



Almost directly on top of the last Pod lies the next one.

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 3 (Glow Sticks)

(Contiuing off from the last Pod)



Continue hopping over the rest of the pillars and you'll find this area. Do you see that suspicious almost cube like wall? Your target is on top of it, however nothing nearby will get you high up enough.



Head right from the Pillars and the Cube Wall and you'll return back to the top floor of the center area of the Ruins. Use the bushes or lower walls (Bottom center of the pic) to get higher and jetpack your way back using the walls and other high areas inbetween, then you'll have enough height to fly over. Make sure your jetpack is full, you'll need it almost maxed out.



And enjoy your new glow sticks for all your raving needs.

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 4 (2 Wild Honey, 1 Royal Jelly)

(Continuing off from the last Pod)



Hop over all the Pillars once more back to the other side. Make a note of this building in the pic, you can barely see a black pod on top that we'll get to later. But for now you are going under, through or around this building to the other side.



Head into here and you'll see 2 doors on the 2nd floor across from you, One is open depending on the switch. It doesn't matter which door just go through.



Up ahead is a current construction sign (Entrance to the Glass Desert in v0.6 or higher), but turn around when you get close to it.



Fly off on the side to find the next Pod

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 5 (Star Flower Patch)

(Continuing from the last Pod)



Start leaving from the last area and take the right most door and up the ramps. Use the switch if needed.



Keep climbing up and across to the very high arched door in the back of the pic above. Again use the switch nearby if needed.



Yup this is the Pod we saw way back then. Claim your new flower patch.

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 5 (Crystal Sconce)

(Continuation from the last Pod)



Its time to get the other Pod we saw earlier (the one barely seen on top of the building). Backtrack a little to where that last switch was and use the higher ground to fly to the closest pillar inbetween here and your target building (left side in the pic above).



It doesn't matter about the switch since you're flying on top, once there look near the center of the building for your prize.

Ancient Ruins: Black Pod 6 (2 Indigonium, 1 Strange Diamond)

We still got one more in the Ruins and if you just did the last Pod in this guide you are in the perfect position to get it. Using the higher spots on top of this building (The one just below the Sconce jewel), jetpack your way to the roof of the center area. You'll need a lot of energy.



Once on top, you'll soon see the pedastal for the last Pod of the Ruins.

Ancient Ruins: Blue Pod 6 (Advanced Gordo Snare)

As of v0.6.0, The Glass Desert can be accessed at that one spot that used to have a Construction sign mentioned back at Black Pod 4 in the Ancient Ruins.



And along the way. Right next to the Door at the bottom of the stair slopes is one more Pod for the Ancient Ruins.

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 1 (Butterscotch Slime Lamp)

After taking the Teleporter to the Glass Desert look at one of the Corners of the Teleporter Room for your first Glass Desert Pod

Glass Desert: Black Pod 1 (Berry Teleporter)

Now that you arrived at the Glass Desert, Run out the building you came from down the steps to the desert and hug the first new slime you see and name him George.....
OH COME ON PEOPLE! You should know by now about running past things like this! You know darn well that building you came out of is going to hide some secrets.



Back at the teleporter you can see some bricks sticking out you can use to platform up or use the middle arch in the middle to climb to the top....



If you just wanted bragging rights of the harder way or a fancy view! HA! An easier alternate path is just look out to the side of the building when you came out of for a platform to fly over too. If you actually fell for it just look off the edge and jump down safely.



Then claim your new Teleporter

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 1 (Ruined Desert Blocks)

As you make your way down the stairs, off on the right, you'll see a ruined structure high up on the side of a small mountain. That holds some pretty importance for both the Desert and Many Treasure Pods, but I'll go more into that a bit later. An entire circle of a path surrounds this on the ground level and the next pod is in the back side of this structure and mountain.



Once behind it look for a Tangle Slime Statue and go in a little corner behind it and over some blocks for the Pod.

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 2 (Potted Tactus)

Now you can go back to the Ruined Structure and start climbing it on the left side. You can get access to a lot of Treasure Pods and even past some Slime Doors if you know where to go and have a high Energy Tank. But to make this easier I'll only be showing the closer ones and leaving the rest of the high Pods to the other high accesible locations later in the guide.



Once you get on top of the Ruined Structure. Look on the other side and you'll see the entrance inside for the Fountain to help restore the Desert. But there are far more important things that can be seen from this view. The Dervish Gordo, a Mountaintop you can see in the backside to fly up to get to more high areas we'll get into next. A bit behind the Gordo (right in the picture above) is the Next Pod (To the right of the Glass shaped like a clock-hand in the picture above)

Glass Desert: Black Pod 2 (3 Gold Plorts)

Head back on top of the Ruined Structure and use it to fly to the tall mountain just next to the Dervish Gordo (behind him in the picture above). Due to the Slope of the mountain being a bit steep, aim for the lowest part so make sure your Energy Tank is pretty high (at least 200). Also one last reminder to jump from the top of the Ruined Structure, NOT the dirt area in front of the Fountain's entrance otherwise you won't get high enough



Then use the highest part of this mountain's Slope to go to the back end of the mountain you were just at.



Then fly to the opposite side and then climb up one more time to get near the Pod

Glass Desert: Black Pod 3 (Master Apiary)

Return one more time to the Sloped Mountain next to the Dervish Gordo in the back of the picture above. This time when on there face away from the Gordo.



And the Pod is easily in view upon looking down

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 3 (Ruined Desert Column)

Going along the main path of the Glass Desert, or dropping down from the last Treasure Pod, puts you in a Large Circular Area with a Tall Pillar holding the Tangle Gordo, A Slime Door near that, And up front, a Torch in front of a Path that also leads to a Slime Door (Bottom right of picture above).

Both Slime Door paths eventually meet up so you really don't need 2 keys...or 1 for that matter if you flew over all of it from the last Pod's Location, but a warning if attempting to cheat that. The only safe way out of that is finding and popping the Mosiac Gordo
The Tangle Gordo holds the Teleporter. Just another heads up, currently the Teleporter is one-way

For this guide I'll be going through the Path and Slime Door with the Torch untill the meet up point then start back at the other door back here.

So enter the path with the torch (Bottom right of the picture above). If you are still up on the ledge from the last Pod. You can fly to the opening just above that entrance to save quite a bit of time on getting to the pod (Skip to the end of this section if you do, I'll be posting the normal way from ground level inbetween).



This area is the easiest of the 4 Fountains that you can fix to help restore the desert. (2 of the others can't be done until some of the desert is restored or heavy grinding to pop their Gordos, their corresponding slimes won't spawn normally till you restore something.)
I won't be going into restoring the desert, but doing some of it may make some palm trees appear for easier climbing for some areas, its not required for getting all Pods.

To get the Pod in this area, from the picture above, use the right side of the archway foundation to climb up to the floor above.



And you'll find the Pod behind some bricks in the corner of this hidden floor. If you came from the opening i mentioned at the beginning of this section, you'll be standing at the exact spot I am in the picture above.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 4 (Master Drill)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



Get past the Slime Door however you can that was shown from the last area and you'll be on top of a large bridge area. Falling to the bottom will kill you of course but you'll still be taking a jump off. I think you know where I am going with this.



A Hidden area is underneath the center section of the bridge with the Pod on one side.

To get out of here safely there are some bumps on the pillar closest to the mountainside (Right side of the picture above) to help get back up. Or if you restored the Oasis in this section, some palm trees will appear on the Pillar farthest out to the Sand Sea (Which is obscured by the Support beam of the Bridge behind the Pod in the Pic)

Glass Desert: Black Pod 5 (Fiery Glass Sculpture)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



Cross the Bridge and you'll reach an intersection. The Left is a Feral Path and the Right is just a moderate area that doesn't go anywhere. This dead end area is a great place for Fire Slimes and Prickly Pears. Head to the far back of this good farming area, closest to the Sand Sea (Try to go near the Glass Structure far back in the top middle of the picture above.



Way out behind the Glass Structure farthest from the intersection, out on the side of the mountainside, is a ledge with the Pod. Make sure you attempt from the higher areas or you might not reach and die

Glass Desert: Black Pod 6 (3 Gold Plorts)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



As of v.0.6.0b. An Extra Pod was added very close to the previoius Pod in plain sight

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 4 (Coil Grass)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



Head back to the intersection and head left through the Feral Path.



This Feral Path has multiple levels, going through the ground level leads to the Meet up point of the 2 Slime Gate paths. If you look through the upper levels of this path, you'll see an opening on the walls.



That leads to a small section with 1 of the Oasis Plants and you can see an upper section in the back. Use the pillars and other structures for enough height. Up there has another Pod waiting for you.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 7 (Palm Tree)

Make your way back to the Center Area/Big Pillar/Tangle Gordo/Teleporter/whatever and now go past the other Slime Gate however you can (Left in the picture above)



And you'll come to another intersection with another Feral Path on the Right and an Island to the Left. Like Before, we'll be going through the Feral Path last. Head to the island.



This Island holds another Fountain, this time involving Mosiac Statues. Of course we're here for Treasure Pods. Head to the Far Back of this area, closest to the Sand Sea.



On one of the Mountain islands out at Sea has your Next Reward

Glass Desert: Black Pod 8 (Palm Sprout)

(Continuation from the Last Treasure Pod)



Did you notice the hidden lower area underneath the island from that last Pod picture? Well shame on you if you didn't see that till now. Just head into there before you embarrass yourself any further. Alternatively there are also holes on the island that drop to it as well.



There you'll find the Fountain, One of the Mosiac Slime Statues and the Treasure Pod.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 9 (Cocoa Warp Depot)

(Continuing off from the Previous Pod)



Fly Back to the Intersection and go through the Feral Path. This one is much shorter than the other one.



Alternatively there's a broken bridge on the Island to fly to the other side of the Feral Path avoiding it almost completely.



Instead of going through the opening to the next area. Climb the side next to it to find...



Nothing!. Welp, time to rage quit reading this guide then write an angry comment to the author then make a venting Post on reddit....



Or you can suck up, be a man (or manly woman) and do some courageous mountainside scanning. You'll find this Sneaky Treasure Pod if you do it just right.

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 5 (Cocoa Slime Lamp)

(Starting off from the Last Pod Location)



Head into the opening that we ignored from the Last Treasure Pod.



Inside is another Oasis Plant, and 2 floors to take (You might also spy some Hunter Slimes if you look carefully). The Top Floor takes you to the Meet up Point of the 2 Slime Gate paths. So take the bottom path into a little cave system.



Shortly in you'll find the Next Pod in Plain Sight.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 10 (Thundering Glass Sculpture)

Now if you took either of the paths from the Slime Gates in the Glass Desert. If you followed the main path of these (mentioned in Blue Pods 4 & 5 that we did NOT take in those sections). You will end up in what i kept calling the Meet-up Point.



This spot is fairly important for getting to the remaining Treasure Pods in the Glass Desert. Head up the Stone Ramps to the Top.



Off in the Distance of the picture above you can see some sort of Room high up on the Ruined Structure. Use the Pillars from the top of the Stone Ramp to get enough height to fly over there.



This room is more than just another Fountain and some Quantum Spawns, Look straight up and you'll see one of the Dervish Slime Statues for it. Of course that Statue isn't alone up there. Its a little tricky, but you'll need to use a lot of the broken pieces of this room so you can climb high enough to stand on top of the lower walls to get close to it.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 11 (Cocoa Teleporter)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



The Area Behind the Tall Structure that has the Dervish Fountain from the last Pod doesn't have much at the moment. There's a WIP sign for the grand finale of Slime Rancher that will most likely be revealed at v1.0. And a Tunnel will take you back to the Cave system we breifly looked into for the Cocoa Slime Lamp to help make your way back. Oh and there's some cube structures in the back.....hmm

Remember that Black Pod that had the Glow Sticks in the Ancient Ruins of a suspuscious cube-like wall that was actually Hollow?





Yup its almost the exact same thing here. Except this time. Its really tough to go in from above but there's a hole in the back. So make sure you have 250+ Energy for this one as you fly over from the Dervish Fountain Structure to the back side of this.

Glass Desert: Blue Pod 6 (Berry Slime Lamp)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



There's one more Pod nearby here. Right next door to the Previous Cube Structure is another one, and while that one doesn't have any openings, A Pod is at the Base in the back

Glass Desert: Black Pod 12 (Master Pump)

Head back to what I Call the Meet-up Point, where the 2 Slime Gate Paths meet up to lead into a small ending area. Head back up the Ruined Ramps once again but when at the top, this time turn around.



And You'll see a structure with the Mosaic Gordo at the top. Climbing this one is a bit tricky but it can all be done with what you see in the picture above (Restoring the nearby Oasis Plant adds a few Palm Trees to make it easier if needed). Bring some Veggies and Pop that Sucker.



He reveals a Dirt pathway that leads to high above the other side of the Tango Gordo/Teleporter. This will be used for the last of v0.6.0's Treasure Pods. But hang on there Jethro! That Dirt pathway you passed was no pathway.



It was actually a bridge with a Pod underneath. Use the far side of this little canyon-like area to make it back safely to the dirt bridge

Glass Desert: Black Pod 13 (Super Hydro Turret)

(Continuation from the Last Pod)




There's actually another hidden one right by. Cross over the Dirt Bridge but don't head toward the Tangle Gordo/Teleporter Area. Climb over the wall to the right of the bridge and fly over above the wall of the side of the canyon-like area you used to get back safely from claiming the Master Pump. (Top Right of the picture above)



And you'll find this super secret Pod really close by, still in view of the last Pod you opened.

Glass Desert: Black Pod 14 (Berry Warp Depot)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



Head back to the Dirt Bridge One Last time and cross it back to the Tangle Gordo/Teleporter, but don't drop down. Hug the Left Wall and go along this Ring-like path around, climbing as needed.



And you'll find the Pod on this Piece of Ruin

Glass Desert: Black Pod 15 (Towering Glass Sculpture)

(Continuing from the Last Pod Location)



For the Last Pod of v0.6.0, Use the Piece of Ruin as a Ramp to fly yourself to the Big Pillar that holds the Tangle Gordo and its Teleporter. High up on the Side is the Final Pod that you'll be able to reach. You could also use the walls on the side to get to the Higher Ruin Piece and just walk over to it. (Right side of the Picture above)

Ogden's Retreat: Green Pod 1 (3 Hexacombs, 1 Lava Dust, 1 Strange Diamond, 1 Royal Jelly)

When you finish Ogden's questline for The Wilds, The Retreat will fully unlock allowing more Plots to use like a Ranch Expansion. On the far side of it, to the right of the Slime Toy Shop is a Treasure Pod (Left of the dock, in front of the little crates in the picture)

The Wilds: Green Pod 1 (2 Wild Honey, 1 Royal Jelly)

Important notes for starting out

----------------------------------------------------

When entering The Wilds, you will be teleported randomly to 1 of 4 spots, making this a tad difficult to start out with.
Thankfully all 4 are rather close to each other and the 1st Pod is directly behind one of them.
So I'll be giving each spot a simple name of the area, and how to reach the Pod or the other Starting spots to work your way to it.

Another big important note is All slimes here start out as Feral Saber Largos . So take wisdom of the almighty BOb and bring CHicKeNs.

To start the questline to unlock the Warp to The Wilds you need the following.

• The Overgrowth Expansion Unlocked (That's where the Warp is when unlocked)
  
• Entered The Moss Blanket at least once
  
• At least One Successful Range Exchange Trade with Ogden Ortiz past v1.1. The above 2 requirements must be completed 1st before doing this.

1st Pod Location

----------------------------------------------------

This one has the Pod right behind it high above. Climb the Stones on the right of the Picture above to fly over. The Palm Tree can help too

Stone Rings

----------------------------------------------------

You can barely see the Pod to the right at the top of the 2 Palm Trees in the Picture above. Use the Nearby rocks next to those said 2 Palm Trees to get to it.

Stalagmites and tites

----------------------------------------------------

Behind this teleporter is an almost cave like area with Stalagmites, Stalagtites and a Cave entrance. Taking the path to the Top Left of the Picture above will take you right to the Stone Rings Area. So then read the Stone Rings section above

Glowy Cave

----------------------------------------------------

There are many tunnels out of this cave. If starting here, your goal is the Tunnel on the far right of this picture, next to the torch. The Teleporter is on the Top Left of this picture (For those, like me, who have trouble seeing in this Cave). Use the terrain to climb up high if needed

This will take you to the Stalagmites and tites' Cave entrance that was shown in that section's picture. So just take a right when coming out of the Tunnel and you'll be in the Stone Rings area, then just read that section, to get the Pod

The Wilds: Blue Pod 1 (Wild Coral Columns)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)

Now that I got you kids back together again from all your gift shops, sideshows and rides, we can go through this attraction together in an orderly, boring, fashion.



From the previous Pod and its neighboring Entrance teleporter, you'll see a bunch of criss-crossing rising wooden bridges. Head to the top of the highest one.



Behind the nearby Plant, lies a hidden wooden bridge with the Pod

The Wilds: Green Pod 2 (Cotten Flower Patch)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)

Continue along this very linear path to reach the Central area of The Wilds.



Once you reach this somewhat open area. Look for 2 small waterfalls (it'll be on the right side when coming in).



Not too far from it is a small shoreline on this "stream" (keep in mind that's still the Slime Sea so don't fall in). If you remember Dry Reef: Black Pod 1, I think you know how this turns out.

The Wilds: Black Pod 1 (Carved Rocks)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



Now your goal is getting on top of these waterfalls. Use the nearby palm trees to keep going higher and higher till you get on top



This water is safe to cross so head in.



And as you see the 2 Bigger waterfalls, if your graphic settings are decent, you should spot this Pod in an instant

The Wilds: Blue Pod 2 (Peach Cloud Tree)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



Go through the big Waterfall and through this path and you'll loop back around to the Central Area of The Wilds but at a much higher place.







Little did our heroine know is that high above on the right side when coming out, in a Stump, lies the next Treasure Pod. So how do you get to it before the Legion of Doom does?



Just to the Left when coming out is a small area with one of the 3 Exit Teleporters to get safely back home. Climb up to the higher spot of this using the bushes, then fly on top of the Palm Trees on the right side of the picture above, that will give you enough height to cross over to it.

The Wilds: Green Pod 3 (Wild Grass Patch)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



For this next one if you got your energy capacity at or near max, you can fly straight across the Central Area of The Wilds to the other side and right to it. You can just see it in the picture above at the very top right corner.



Here's another picture on the opposite side. The previous Pod is at the Top Right Corner and this one is on the Bottom Left

The Wilds: Green Pod 4 (Glow Rocks)

(Continuation of the Last Pod)



From the Last Treasure Pod, hug the big wall behind it, Past the nearby Big Tree and out to the Slime Sea. With the Birds and the Bees, so says JKthree. No more rhymes so be filled with Glee.



Look down once you reach the edge and you should be able to spot the Pod below on its own ledge. (Just above the vac-pack inventory slots in the picture above)

The Wilds: Black Pod 2 (Cave Rocks)

Work your way back to Green Pod 3 (Top Left of the Picture above). You don't have to get to the same level as it. The same level as the Bridge is good enough.
If coming from the Last Pod, everything on the right side of the picture above and perhaps farther will be enough to get back up.



This time on the other side are at least 2 cave entrances. It doesn't matter which ones but the Higher one is prefered. This will take you to the Glowy Cave (or back to it if you started there)



Once in here, get to the Highest Spot with the Wooden Bridge



Around the edge on a hidden high ledge, lies the super hidden Last Pod of the Wilds (Top right of the picture above). You can see an Exit Teleporter for reference and makes a well relieved sight to wrap this area up.

Nimble Valley Beginner Circuit: Green Pod 1 (Tall Magneticore Array)

Important notes for starting out

----------------------------------------------------

Just like The Wilds, Nimble Valley needs to be unlocked in a similiar fashion.

• The Grotto Expansion Unlocked (That's where the Warp is when unlocked)
  
• Entered The Indigo Quarry at least once
  
• At least One Successful Range Exchange Trade with Mochi Miles past v1.2. The above 2 requirements must be completed 1st before doing this.

The other note is there are 2 different maps for Nimble Valley via teleporter. (Thus enabling double the runs for Quicksilver Plorts, but since you can enter these areas at any time to hunt for Treasure Pods, it doesn't matter here in this guide)

One is tougher than the other (and has a bigger payout in both Treasure Pods and Quicksilver Plorts)
So to go with the Electric-Racing Theme, I'll be calling these areas by Beginners Circuit and Advanced Circuit. The Advanced Circuit is the one farther away like in the picture below



To start off we'll be going into the Beginner Circuit.

Just like every raceway it eventually loops around back to the start so getting lost should not be a problem here.



Just a bit behind the teleporter is a banner that acts like a great finish line for our little pengu slimes and an even better victory for you as the first Pod is right above it.



Make your way back to the teleporter and use the little floating platforms to make your way up as high as possible while making your way to the little finish line banner



And you'll find the pod up in the corner up top (Above the cross-hair in the picture above)

Nimble Valley Beginner Circuit: Black Pod 1 (Ornate Magneticore Array)

About halfway through the track (opposite side of the teleporter) are two big floating islands.
The goal here is to get on top of the larger one to fly to the smaller one



Closest to the Larger Floating island is a Cave that the Quicksilver slimes may use for their track. Get on top of it however you like (There are smaller floating island platforms under and near the big ones to help get you up there)



This will get you just enough height to land on the lowest part of the bigger floating island



Then just climb to the top of it and jetpack over to the smaller big floating island for your prize

Nimble Valley Advanced Circuit: Green Pod 1 (Nimble Grass Patch)

Now we are on to the 2nd map of Nimble Valley, the "Advanced Circuit" (The harder of the 2, the one further away in the picture above)



Similiar to the previous Circuit, a banner that acts like a finish line is right behind the teleporter you came from (Except this one does a poor job as there's an alternate route next to it) and just like before a Pod is near it.



This one is much easier to get to as there are some simple areas to use right nearby to get up to it

Nimble Valley Advanced Circuit: Blue Pod 1 (Small Magneticore Array)

Since this map is larger we'll be going in the appropriate direction of the race track so those that keep picturing some nerd in a cloud with a fishing rod nagging at you for going the wrong way can now feel at ease



Directly in view when coming in from the teleporter is a tall pillar with a mercury-magnetic rock on top, quite simple to get to as you can use the higher area right behind the teleporter to get up to the higher areas.



The only thing close to difficult is trying to open it as the ledge its on is rather small

Nimble Valley Advanced Circuit: Black Pod 1 (Sturdy Magneticore Array)

Continue along the track at the "road" level and you'll come to your first jump (indicated by the skull sign despite no feral largos here). Notice the clump of mercury rocks in the back.



Just behind it is a hidden area with the next Treasure Pod

Nimble Valley Advanced Circuit: Blue Pod 2 (Nimble Needle Tree)

(Continuing off from the Last Pod)



As you continue along the track, you'll come to the next jump that leads to a 2-pathed cave. You can rest your paranoia of being shot at by homing projectiles falling off into last place as we won't be needing to take the jump. Look to the right.



You can skip the pathway needed to work your way to the final Pod (which is also in sight) by flying toward that tiny floating island.



From here you fly onto the highest of the mercury rocks helping to support the mini pride rock. Press up against them for best chance of success

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 1 (Field Kit)

As you would expect from a simulation DLC, there would be many similar locations and most of the Treasure Pods follow as well. So most of this guide will be referencing past locations/pods.

To unlock the Slimulation you need the following requirements

• Ancient Ruins unlocked
  
• Slime Science unlocked
  
• Treasure Cracker MKII
  
• Complete One Range Exchange with Viktor when the above is completed

Like the Wilds, you'll be transported to a random start point, but I'll be starting from where your Ranch would normally be (so it should be easy for anyone to go there) An exit portal appears over time when corruption spreads but you can still explore and find pods at your leisure despite the corruption appearing


Similar to the Blue Pod on the Arch, a digi-arch appears at the same spot in the slimulation and it holds the first Pod

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 2 (Supply Drop)

Continuation of Blue Pod 1

and just like the regular Dry Reef, another Pod is in view from the last one in a small cave when looking out from the Arch

Slimeulation: Black Pod 1 (Digi Tree)

This next Pod is found in the path where the Phosphor Gordo would be but since most of it is cut out, the only remaining passage are the stones near where the Tabby Gordo would be.

Slimeulation: Black Pod 2 (Dash Pad)

Similar to a Blue Pod by the Indigo Quarry entrance cave in the regular Dry Reef, only much higher since a spawn point is now there.

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 3 (Battery Tower)

There's several entrances to the Moss Blanket since its all connected freely, but if you went to the normal path, you'll find the Pod just above and to the right. The same location of the Hobson letter in the regular Moss Blanket saying how he built an exit out.

Slimeulation: Black Pod 3 (Digi Shrub)

Continuation of previous Pod



Head to where the Moss Blanket's entrance to the Ancient Ruins would be and you'll find a mess of digi-platforms. Behind the tree and shrubs is the pod

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 4 (Fruit Slime Bait)

The Moss Blanket portion gets a bit wacky in the reorganizing of the landscape but behind the location where the Honey Gordo would be is the next Pod.

Slimeulation: Black Pod 4 (Portable Scareslime)

Just a bit past the last Pod is the Feral Boom path just like the real Moss Blanket, and a Black Pod is at the top, the same location as a green pod in the real Moss Blanket

Slimeulation: Black Pod 5 (Digi Panel)

High above the ending portion of the Moss Blanket's section. The Mushroom Forest ending prior to this or the hallowed logs will work on getting up there

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 5 (Portable Water Tap)

Similar to the Black Pod above the Puddle Spa area in the real Indigo Quarry, a Blue Pod is in almost its exact location inside the Slimulation version

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 6 (Veggie Slime Bait)

In the exact spot of the Serious Fashion Pod, hidden behind a path on the edge behind a mountain in the Feral Area in the Indigo Quarry

Slimeulation: Blue Pod 7 (Meat Slime Bait)

In the final area of the Indigo Quarry portion of the Slimeulation, you'll find the the last Pod underwater, barely visible.

The first of the Premium Treasure Pods is right behind the 1st Pink Gordo. Easy to find

DLC Dry Reef: Gold Pod 2 (Rock)

Where the Grey crystals are after passing through the hallowed coral tube. Right above where the Phosphor Gordo cave would be

DLC Dry Reef: Gold Pod 3 (Tabby)

To the right of the Tabby Gordo that holds the teleporter to Ring Island

DLC Dry Reef: Gold Pod 4 (Gold)

Right in front of the Ring Island Vault Teleporter

DLC Slime Sea: Gold Pod 1 (Phosphor)

On the Island hopping area behind the Grotto of your Ranch

DLC Moss Blanket: Gold Pod 1 (Boom)

In the small cave-like alcove in front of the Ancient Ruins' entrance

DLC Moss Blanket: Gold Pod 2 (Hunter)

At the end of the Mushroom Forest, there is a small island with the Pod

DLC Moss Blanket: Gold Pod 3 (Honey)

Just behind the One-way Teleporter back to your Ranch

DLC Indigo Quarry: Gold Pod 1 (Puddle)

At the Spa area of the Indigo Quarry, near the related Hobson Letter

DLC Indigo Quarry: Gold Pod 2 (Crystal)

Bottom floor of the Volcanic Island. In sight of the Teleporter to get there and the Hobson letter.

DLC Indigo Quarry: Gold Pod 3 (Rad)

In the cave section underneath the Indigo Quarry's entrance to the Ancient Ruins. Hidden behind a pillar once you are down there.

DLC Ancient Ruins: Gold Pod 1 (Lucky)

Top floor, center area of the Ancient Ruins. Just on the other side of the Map Node

DLC Ancient Ruins: Gold Pod 2 (Quantum)

Inside the Entrance to the Glass Desert on your right when entering the doorway.

DLC Glass Desert: Gold Pod 1 (Dervish)

In the little cave-like spot in the center of the Glass Desert (Where the Tangle Gordo/1WayTeleporter is)

DLC Glass Desert: Gold Pod 2 (Mosaic)

In the Area where the Mosaic Statues/Fountain reside

DLC Glass Desert: Gold Pod 3 (Tangle)

High up above real close to the teleporter and start button on the Easy Circuit. Shouldn't be too hard using the area around to get up there.

The Slimeulation's Gold Pod is right in front of where the Honey Gordo would be in the Moss Blanket, just in sight of a previously mentioned Blue Pod

I'm finding this very useful for finding the last few pods. I never would have found the Echo Net one on my own. The directions could be more specific in places though. For example for the Ruined Pillar one, instead of saying "continue along this bottom floor's path. ..." I'd add directions: "continue east, then turn right (south) to a corner, continue east, then glide around the corner to the right." The game has a map and compass so it seems like it would be more natural to refer to them in a guide like this.

In version 1.4.1b the treasure pod behind the lab barn was moved to the barn.
Also in latest update there were two more treasure pods pods added. One in the area behind the grotto and the other on one of the platforms in the Ancient Ruins Courtyard
