Updated for Norsca patch. Slightly decreased melee defence and charge bonus.

@Tanzdiktator Yeap, the way you described it is exactly what I had in mind when I made them :) I run some tests with 3 units of vanilla Goblin and 3 units of mine against Empire Swordsmen and they did slightly better (each unit had 5-10 more kills) which I consider balanced given they cost 50 gold more. But thanks for the tips, I may lower their defence a bit.

I suggest you give them the same attack but lower their defense some to represent their ridiculously short stature, and ability to defend themselves from much larger opponents. They're crazy little buggers who should by all means be crazy little buggers in a charge, but not do so well in defense. Remember that goblins are half a man's height if that. I can see them being very vulnerable to be ranged, but in all honesty, they shouldn't be much challenge for a trained unit of swordsman. I could see them as fast infantry to flank or as fodder to soften up the enemy for the boyz but IMHO regardless of their lack of armor they shouldn't be doing so well against their equivalent. When I tested them out, they had gotten that swordsman unit down to like 3/4 health or worse and they were at about 90%. I only lost because a hero stepped in and stomped them.

@Tanzdiktator Thanks for the feedback. I may consider nerfing them with an update later today.

Just remember this unit has no armor and no shields. Its numbers will be halved with 2-3 concentrated volleys from Crossbowmen. Plus they will lose morale and if it goes under 50% the Skittish custom ability kicks in that reduces their defence and makes them run amok. They may not even have time to engage before getting routed.

Yeah, I tried these guys out. Seemed pretty neat, but they stomp Imperial Swordsmen in 1:1, and that's just no good.

ah the memories.......

@Tschib Hi, thanks for the feedback! I'll run a few tests and maybe tone them down a bit.
Tschib Apr 1, 2017 @ 3:29am
great addition but they do seem overpowered :/
right now they rival orc boyz and easily crush empire infantry 1:1
maybe the the armor should go? and a slight debuff on leadership and weaponstrength? i mean; thyre tiny gobs with stubby daggers and should be the weakest unit imaginable (on par with zombies)... just a suggestion ofc

Thanks for testing. I suppose ill test out my other mods to find a problem.
