Items

Items are really important in the Sans fight as altough checking him says that he deals one damage, his damage is constant there's no delay like everyone else and the attacks are poison so yeah. I'd suggest having legendary heros, steak shaped like Mettatons face, instant noodles, and pie. You can get the pie at Toriel's home but you only get one. You can get the legendary hero and steak shaped like Mettatons face at the Glamburger. You can get the Instant noodles at Alphy's lab but you only get one. Use instant health items last like Pie and Instant noodles. But the best way to do it, is to not use healing items in the first phase

Memorization

No matter what, any guide will say to memorize San's attacks. And you should do that. Unlike everyone elses attacks his is on a set pattern his attacks aren't randomized. So learning what works will with dodging those attacks is key to beating him Here's a list of his attacks

1. The Strongest Attack
2. Short Hops
3. Blue Bones
4. Random Jumps
5. Platform Jump 1
6. Platform Jump 2
7. Bones and Platforms
8. Bone Gap Platform Easy
9. Gaster Blaster Platforms Easy
10. Bone Gap Platform Hard
11. Short Hops
12. Pockets
13. Random Jumps Hard
Phase 2 (heal fully here)
14. Multi 1
15. Gaster Dodge Slim
16. Multi 2
17. Slam 1
18. Slam 2
19. Gaster Blaster Dodge Fat
20. Bone Circle
21. Multi 3
22. Slam Big
23. Last Attack

Now he'll do his special attack. Don't move, yeah seriously. Eventually he'll fall asleep and you can move your dodge box to the attack button and you're done.

Beating him

Just remember his attacks and stay determined and remember, after all this pain and suffering you will finally get to brag about beating one gamings hardest bosses. You should feel proud. I always believed in you
