Limit FPS

Command and setting to limit ARK ingame FPS temporarily or permanent.

Limit FPS ingame

Open ingame console (Tab)
Console command to show FPS:

stat fps

Console command to limit FPS to 60:

t.maxfps 60

Set the FPS Limit by default

You can add this in the following file:
Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

Or just tell your graphics driver to not run over 60, in general or for this game only.
Nvidia got this cute little global setting where you can even limit the FPS for a background task (you're tabbed out to google something, for example).

This is great. My GPU load went from roughly 80% down to 34% with this. Both I and my computer are very happy :)

cuz both in fullscreen and windowed fc mode, when i switch to desktop the game just start using 100% graphic card and its over heating my card omg
