This guide will introduce you to what Unturned is... although, why would you have got it if you didn't know what it was about...anyway...
I am here to explain to you the point of Unturned and also drop in some jokes along the way. It will tell you the Id lists for most of the items I know about and it will also tell you about the challenges on the Liberator! I will tell noobs how to fight and in my opinion the best guns are. It has all the current maps and all the different ways to gain XP. I have also got some cheat commands at the end (and I have breif intro which I'm fairly pleased about!) I also have the official story line of unturned here... there is basically everything you'll ever need to know here! Enjoy!

Hello! This guide will tell you how to survive Unturned. I may also slip in some jokes along the way so beware! This guide is for experienced pros like mwa so if your a noob, leave the room now please.

The story line

Scorpian 7 was a lab were a group of scientists were working on creating the dna for the undead. They were building them inside a confined space but they didn't realize just how strong they were going to be.One of the zombies breaks the container and rampages around Washington. It takes over Seattle and infects the whole place. Milatry forces and the police evacuate everyone to Paradise Point but soon enough, that gets taken over as well.The zombies of Washington board a ship and that soon takes them to the Yukon. They take over the south side of the island and soon enough the police are on there tail again. The zombies completely destroy the place.Another group of zombies who were still at Washington catch a ride on a ferry to PEI and soon take over that whole place as well. The monsters go to the airports and seaports and fly/sail to the new map, Russia. Here, they can't take over the whole map as it is too big and there are too little of them to fight away the humans.A boat comes to Russia called the Liberator. The miliatry haven't given up on humanity just yet. Onboard and some computer ran players who give you quests and things. Some of them are robbers, others are chefs and fishers. The pilot says that they are there to save any survivors and to keep the human race alive.

How to fight a zombie or player.

If you are fighting a zombie with a hand held weapon like a knife or an axe, you need to right up to in from behind and hover your cursor over its head. Then you need to either left click or right click contantly.(Right click is stronger but takes longer!) All the while that you are doing this, you need to keep walking backwards to keep it away from you. I told you it was hard! If you are using a gun or bow, hold right click to aim for its head then left click to fire! A few blows should do it!

If you are fighting another player, it is different. You definitely need a gun or a bow because it is best if you are quite far away from them. Again, you need to aim for there head and fire a few times, but every other shot, you should hide behind something because you never know what gun they have.
Also, to reload, press 'R'.

Tips-

If you are aiming far away, you should always aim slightly above the player or zombie.

Always keep moving when you are fighting otherwise they may smack you before you are ready.

If you are into XP, you may want to try fighting the zombies with your fists as it can be useful if you need to upgrade something.

You can try a method I call the circling method (intresting name, I know, IzardLizard). Basically, what you have to do is circle the zombie to keep it moving because you can hit when moving but they can't! Never try try to a circling method on a lying down zombie though!

How to build an elevator

STEP 1

Build a small room and add a large door. DO NOT add a floor though!

STEP 2

Add a floor and while clicking on the floor, press and hold shift & F6! Use ESC to escape and press H to use 3rd person. Use the arrows to go up and down.

STEP 3

Decorate! You may want to add signs, celilights and lanterns to make it look more like an elevator.

How to use free cam on singleplayer

When I first got the game, I got told, many, many different things but none of them worked for me. It turned out that it was different for different computers. Here is the list for all the ones that may work for you:

Fn, Shift and an F key from 1-4
Shift and an F key from 1-4
Fn and esc
Press H then an F key from 1-4
Press H then Fn, Shift and an F key from 1-4

To move in free cam, you have exactly the same controls:

W-forwards
S-backwards
A-left
D-right
Shift-sprint

Also, you can't jump and you can fly right through the floor and walls (Propably a glitch!!)

Best guns to choose from on an Arena map

They are the best guns you could ever choose from in my opinion because they are all really good at aiming and they are powerful and come with heaps of amo.

How to gain experience quickly

There are plently of ways to earn XP easily and quickly:

Complete quests that give you XP
Cheat for it as I will explain further down in the guide
Chop down trees
Fishing
Hunting
Killing zombies
Killing players
Buying it in downloads and XP packs (check them 1st incase of a scam!)

Cheat commands

For items, @give Username/ID/Amount
Example: @give IzardLizard/333/15 would give me 15 binoculars.


For vehicles, @vehicle Username/ID
Example: @vehicle IzardLizard/86 would spawn a bus near me.


For experience, @experience Username/Amount
Example: @experience IzardLizard/9000 would give me 9000 experience to use!


For teleporting, @teleport Username/Location
Example: @teleport IzardLizard/Scorpion would teleport me to Scorpion-7.


For controlling time, @day, @night, @time Value
Example: @time 2000 changes the world time to late afternoon.


For "summoning" a rainstorm to fill up your rain barrels, @storm BEWARE- i strongly suggest you don't try this command because for now there has not been a command to stop the rain!


For calling in an airdrop of supplies, @airdrop


For changing your reputation around, @reputation Username/Value
Example: @reputation IzardLizard/20 would make me a Constable if at 0 to begin with.

Change firemode gun by pressing V

Check/modify gun attachment by holding T & then left-click

Toggle gun tactical by pressing B

No clip/spectator mode, first you have to be an admin/enable cheats in singleplayer mode. Press H for third person & then press SHIFT+F1

Catagories

In Unturned, there are 5 different catagories for every single item in the game: Farm-i, Milatary, Stupidly crazy, General and Survival.

Yup. I know what your thinking. "What on earth is Stupidly crazy, MinkyCat?" – well obviously I don't actually know what your thinking otherwise that would be really weird. But......



Farm-i : This catagory is for things like chainsaws, bows, crossbows, seeds, fishing and farm clothes and stuff like that.














General : This catagory is for things like kitchen knifes, baseball bats, spades and things that we don't generaly tend to need.












Survival : This catagory is for things like food, water, cantines, clothes, backpacks and all of these things that keep us alive.












Military : This catagory is for things like good guns, scopes, aeroplanes and all awesome things.











Stupidly crazy : This catagory isn't actually a catagory but I like to call it one. Its for things like umbrellas, rocket launchers, paintball guns and stupid things!

Clothes

The plaid shirt has 18 spaces of storage and is perfect for well people who like ... plaid shirts. It also keeps off roughly 5% damage and can be very good for camo if you know how to wear one. See, I told you it was for the pros only.






These shirts just keep you a bit warmer and make you look cool! They have around 12 storage spaces and don't keep you that safe.









The normal jeans just well are clothes. With only around 12 spaces, these jeans really are only for the pros...I think









If your into stealth, then the theif clothes are for you. They hold 15 storage and keep you hidden in the dark.

Weapons

There are plenty of weapons in Unturned that will keep you alive against other players and zombies.


Guns : Guns in Unturned are a key weapon. Obviously they are used to kill things, but they can also be used to distract players and threats.








Hand-held weapons : Hand-held weapons can be knives, spades, paddles, and stuff you hold in your hand. They also tend to have another meaning as well. For example – axes can also be used to cut down trees.

Food and drink

There is a whole load of different foods you can find. The best is obviously the MRE packets from military bases:

Also, you need to keep your water levels high, too. You can store fresh water in cantines and things too:
