How to Barik (OUTDATED)
By Deadmeat0
Since this is a series now, I may as well make a Barik guide.

Barik is a frontline hero based around turrets. He is "The least tanky" tank, at 3000 hp. BUT his barrier and turrets are his real strength.

Barik's main weapon is his Blunderbuss/Shotgun. It deals about 30-70 damage at long range, because the individual pellets are weak. At point blank is another story. It can deal up to 700 damage maximum, while consuming marks. But what are marks? Well, I'll cover that now.

Turrets. Barik's bread and butter. By pressing Q, you deploy a short turret which can have anywhere between 400 and 1000 health. I think. When a turret targets and enemy, it marks them. when you shoot a marked enemy with your primary attack, it deals about 10% more damage. you can deploy 2 turrets at once.

Barik's Right click, (or opposite trigger for controlers) spawns a barrier that covers 180 degrees. this barrier, like Fernando's and Makoa's can block powerful explosives and ults, like the grumpy bomb. It has VERY high health. the duration is more likely to expire before it is destroyed. Spawn this in front of your turrets to protect you and them from damage as you blast the enemy team.

Barik's movement ability is rocket boots. It just sends you flying forward, and you can control it. use it to escape skye's time bomb, and bomb king's grumpy.

I will now go over the cards, as Barik's cards can make him near unstoppable.

Bowling ball for the rocket boots give you a sheild for 4 seconds after use, allowing for a quick boost into battle, or protection while escaping. Heal station makes Barik restore his health when near his turrets, which is one of the big ones. this allows you to become a stationary fortress. Fast deploy makes the turrets go up WAY faster, which is quite useful.

And that's pretty much how to play Barik.

Cards
Barik's cards can make or break a loadout.

Forged Alloy greatly increases your turret's ability to sustain damage during battle, and thus last longer.

Don't take Combat Repair, as the rate at which it restores health is sluggish at best.

Bowling ball is great if you want more survivability, both agressively and when retreating.

The Barrier upgrades aren't too important, unless they reduce cooldowns of abilities.

If I made any grammar mistakes, tell me.

This is an old, outdated guide.
and i take SLIGHT offense to that.

No offense but this is a terrible pos guide. Most of the guide is in the heading space lol and most of the stats are wrong

True. Barik really needs teammates to support him
for earn Kill and objective. (than Rukus, Makoa)
one of a hardest champ to play with random players in "Casual" game.

it's pretty simple, stay near teammates and turrets, that's pretty much it.
