How to be a Demopan!

Have you ever been bored of playing the spammy, drunken, one-eyed cyclops, The Demoman? Have you tried Demoknight but still seemed unsatisfied and bored? Well, worry no more because I will show you how to be the over powered, mighty, Demopan!

A scrumpan-swilling drunken demolitpan expert from the Stouttish highlands, the Demopan (real name Demoman (real-real name Tavish DeGroot)) is one of the more versatile members of the team. Though his weapons lack pinpoint long-range accuracy, the Demopan is a powerful (if unpredictable) asset, and can hold his own in just about any situation. He is a master of hat collection, excelling at indirect, hat stacking. Armed with his Frying Pan and Chargin' Targe, the Demopan uses his only good eye and knowledge of the surrounding environment for well-timed trade offers that send enemies skyward.

I also have watched and learned from a master Demopanner, King Raja, and also King Raja created a technique called PAN-DEMO-NIUM!

So, you learned the intoduction of the Demopan. Now you need the right equipment!

The commonly used Demopan loadouts:

• The Bounty Hat

• The Dangeresque, Too?

• The Chargin' Targe / Tide Turner (For maximum mobility)

• The Frying Pan / The Golden Pan (Because people will volunteer to be killed by you)

• The Bootlegger / The Ali Baba's Wee Booties / Any Primary

The cosmetics are optional but I recommend you wear some to terrify your enemies!

The maps and strategies for a Demopan.

Now that you have the right equipment. It's time to go out to that battlefield, but wait! You need to learn the ways of the Demopan and where to play.

Great maps for Demopans:

• pl_upward is great for trimping and flanking as a Demopan.

• cp_degrootkeep is a good map, there are a buffet of snipers to kill and you can do some awesome trimps with the shields.

• koth_harvest is a short map, but I found some trimping spots and it's easy to get away from enemies because of the houses.

I can't list all of the maps but if it's an open map and some ramps, then you're in business!

Strategies for Demopans:

• If you're using the Chargin' Targe you have a chance to kill someone with a critical hit, but you might get killed because the enemies will notice you and if you don't have a medic or your charge bar isn't full your screwed.

• If you're using the Tide Turner, you can kill an enemy and then charge away from harms way or trimp half way across the map.

• Like it says in the introduction 'The Demopan uses his only good eye and knowledge of the surrounding environment for well-timed trade offers that send enemies skyward.' So try to know where the health kits are you're gonna need them and know your environment you can't go swinging your pan like a lunatic! Also if you get killed many times get really salty and send them a well - timed trade offers, offer them the hat Stout Shako.

• Remember what I said about knowing your environment? Forget that! Use the obvious tactic that every Demopan uses! You are using a Frying Pan, the god of random crits so rely on random crits to get your kills.
  
  

How to travel around the map as a Demopan.

The booties can only get you so far, sometimes you have to get to the front line quicker so you can capture / defend the last point or push the Payload for a last minute push.

Here are some ways on how to gain more mobility:

• You can use the Iron Bomber or Loose Cannon so you can pipe jump or an overload jump and combo it with a shield

• Equip the Tide Turner and find a ramp and do a trimp off it
