Monster Shouter

Description
This mod includes 2 new items and the Monster Shouter Skill. (This is my first DOD mod btw.)

(Thanks to all of you that commented. I am working on the suggestions you have, well... suggested.)



Monster Shouter (The skill contains all original art, and new spell animations.)

0: Anger Management - You have learned to channel your inner rage into a greater power, bolstering your resolve, fortitude, and morning breath.

1: Fi Arh - You shout loud enough to ignite the high alcohol concentration of your breath, lighting everyone in front of you on fire. (Edit: Now skill only works if you have the buff "fuelled by booze" on. AKA you need to drink some alcohol before you cast the spell. Or it will not work. / Cool down reduced.) (Working on getting the sound fx to work again.)

2: Yor Mot Her - You shout the most insulting insult you can think of at an enemy. Hurting their feelings.
(Edit: now lowers burliness, nimbleness, and crushing resistance. Don't worry if it looks like this skill, healed the monster. It just lowered the monster's maximum health, so it appears to have healed! )

3: Ba Co Nin - You shout demanding the existence of bacon, forcing the universe to comply.


4: Fas ru Doh - You shout a phrase that barely escapes plagiarism, forcing all enemies in your path back."

You could add OH VER HERE! as a shout that just draws attention (good for monster zoos if they doesn't notice you) and has a chance of confusing things.

Thanks for the input Kaidelong. Oddly many people have told me my ability is to powerful. So until I get a consensus, I sadly won't be changing much. But I will keep your suggestions in mind.

Give me a PM on the GLG forum or something if you do make some major changes so that I can try it again and give this a thumbs up. Right now I can't bring myself to do that, and this makes me sad given it's your first mod and I'd really love to.

1) Way underpowered. Some of the weakest activated abilities in the game, except the last two which are somewhat useful, but the downtimes resemble those of rogue scientists' super powerful spells.

2) Summoning a piece of bacon that may or may not be a very good healing item when used isn't likely to win over player's hearts. Also, letting players stockpile items makes things hard to balance, like the old haematic phylactery and the current issues with Lucky Pick.

3) Anger Management should probably include a starting shout itself. Having a lead in ability that does nothing is rarely a good thing, unless you have a powerful piece of starting equipment and good beginning stats. You get close to this but not quite. Buff the helmet and the starting stats or put an active ability in the lead in.

4) Fi Arh should be much more impressive considering its long cooldown time and the need for booze. Second tier skills often are quite impressive and useful so don't hold back.
