How 2 Azoth (A.K.A: The One That Nobody Plays As.)

Hey have you noticed how there is that one skeleton legend that nobody plays with? If you have, and you've bought him, you've come to the right place! *happy sounds*

Who is Azoth?

Azoth is a SPOOOOKY lichlord who has been killed and resurrected countless times. But now he just likes to sit at home reading a book, having the occasional battle and playing with his cat Dander.

In Brawlhalla, Azoth is the unlockable skelton character who costs 5400 gold to unlock. His main weapon, the ANCIENT AXE and his secondary weapon, the FORGOTTEN BOW are the two weapons in Azoth's arsenal, I'll do an in-depth look at them later in the guide.

Azoth's Stats

Azoth's Stats Read as this:

Strength: 7
Dexterity: 5
Defense: 6
Speed: 4

These stats make Azoth a very strong legend while also making him quite hard to puch out of bounds. These good stats come with a downside of being quite sluggish (probably because he just came out of the grave). His low speed and dexterity make him slow in the battlefiield. This means to do well with Azoth you need to get close to the enemy yet you also will need to be able to dodge whenever possible because Azoth will not be able to outspeed most legends.

The Ancient Axe

Note: The light and arial attacks for the axe are the same as a normal axe.











Azoth's main weapon (the one that shows up on his select sprite) is his Ancient Axe. This axe functions like a normal axe except the fact that it is infueled with SPOOKY MAGIC.


If you do a heavy attack while standing still, Azoth will leap up sweeping his axe upwards with him. This attack has a small horizontal range but covers a decent portion of the air. This move is great for attacking enemies that are about to attack from above.

If you do a heavy attack while moving left or right, Azoth will rush in that direction, sweeping his axe along the way. The attack only does damage at the end of where Azoth charges. This attack is great for surprising enemies and finishing them off.

If you perform a heavy attack while holding the down key (or whatever down is for you) Azothwill summon 3 spooky colomns of energy infront of him going outwards a little bit. Any enemy caught in this will be pushed towards Azoth, who then follows up with a upwards chop sending foes high into the sky. This attack is great for unsuspecting enemies that are coming towards you.

The Forgotton Bow

Note: Like the Ancient Axe, the light and arial attacks are the same as the normal bow.

Azoth's secondary weapon is the Forgotton Bow. This bow is just like the Ancient Axe in that it is also infueled by SPOOKY MAGIC

The side sigs for this bow have Azoth shoot at the ground infront of him causing a blast of dark energy to push foes upward. This is perfect for somebody who is just getting back on a platform after falling off. The blast radius is very large.

The normal sig for the forgotton bow has Azoth fire upwards at an angle and shortly after a shadow form of Azoth appears behind him and fires at the same angle. This is great for attacking foes above him.

The down sig for the bow makes Azoth jump back and fire and arrow where he was just standing. This is great for dealing with opponents that are being too aggressive and coming too close.

In short, this bow is one of the best bows in the game (better than Ember's imo) and makes Azoth a force to be reckoned with.

Conclusion

In short, Azoth is a great attacker with quite a lot of bulk.
Even though he is a bit slow, he makes up for that with long ranged attacks that pack a punch.
