How to fix the BugSplat-Error

In this guide I'll try to help you with the BugSplat-Error.

Step #1:

Go in your Folder "Documents" and follow the track: This PC > Documents > my games > KillingFloor2. Than delete the Folder "Config". After that vertyfiy the Local Gamecache: Libary > Killing Floor 2 > Properties > Local Data > Vertyfiy local gamecahce.


If the Error ist still there...

Step #2:

Use an older version for your graphicdriver. Here is a Link for all who use a "GeForce" From NVIDIA http://www.nvidia.es/Download/Find.aspx?lang=com.
After reset your graphicdriver restart Steam.

Bonus Step:

If youve got problems with the game to lounche. Write -windowed or -dx10 right into the lounchoptions for Killing Floor 2.
Here is the track: Libary > Killing Floor 2 > Properties > General > Set Lounchoptions

i have plenty of zedsplats but not sure what bugsplats are

go into the game folder...steam/steamapps/common/killingfloor2. Now search for *.exe and they will show up

I don't know exacly... but maybe if you go to your Game, leftclick and automatically research the lokal cache of data.

One thing to try if you have persistent bugsplats is to reinstall the vcredist...mine have corrupted twice causing bugsplats...and this has also fixed quite a few friends of mine who had been having bugsplats not fixed by other methods.
