Description
This is a scripted story game where players add sentences to prompts they receive and attempt to continue the story.

Folding Story

The counter can be saved to your chest to be used as a filler activity for other games. Or you can just play it here. When the game starts, each player will be given a zone and a blank notecard.

Rules are simple:
  1. Receive notecard with text (or receive blank).
  2. Continue the story by adding to that text.
  3. Fold the notecard by flipping it over.
  4. Repeat.

The catch is that you can only see the last thing someone wrote.

There's no losers, only winners. Once the amount of folds has been passed (the number on the counter), the notecards will automatically 'unfold' and reveal the full stories. The stories will be formatted with the colours that wrote each fold.

Some things to note:
  • When you delete the counter, all zones and notecards used in the game will be cleaned up and deleted automatically; there's no ghost zones or anything left behind. No need to worry about your saves messing up.
  • To save a notecard and to avoid the script automatically deleting it after pressing "clean up", remove the phrase "Folding Story" from the Notecard's title.

New version can be found here.

Easily the best game I have played in tabletop simulator. It's so funny you just breakdown at the end in hysteria

Y'know, I knew that, and it just slipped my mind. Apologies

Welp, there doesn't seem to be a way to set the colour to anything other than white. At least I can automate the creation/deletion of the hidden zones and then the host can tint them the colour of each player.

Ohh, I had no idea. I will try and work on that tomorrow then. Thanks for the heads up!

You should be able to spawn hidden zones with fogOfWarTrigger, not sure if they've fixed the ability to scale them though, if not, you could always tile them to the same effect
