Soul Crystal Achievement Guide!

This guide will show you in detail how to perform the soulcrystal easter egg.

I will also add the notes!

What You Need!

So this part is the most VITAL part, thats if you want to be fully prepared for the storm coming!

LOADS of dressings, dont bother with medkits and such, as they are only optimal at 10% or lower, dressings are much better as zombie wont do that much damage to you, so they are ideal.

A gun in 100% condition, this is beacuse it will be pushed to the breaking point.
I also would use a Maplestrike, Honeybadger, or calling card something that has a high fire rate, as things can get up close really quickly.

A ton of ammo, this is only needed if you spray alot, admitedly you will spray some what down there but, the best you can control the nerves the better!
(200x Bullets is plenty)

You also need a Horde beacon, if you dont have this then the easter egg will not work!

Finally you need to get some sort of portable vision assistance, such as HeadLamp, Tactical light, or nightvision. DON'T use a torch or hand held light, as it will take a gun slot away, and make you a easy target for your team.

Thats about all the supplies you need!

First Step!

Step One!

So this is the quickest way to do the achievement so I am not adding the back-story to the guide, but I will leave the areas to go for the backstory if you are wanting to find more about it!

(For the backstory go to the end of guide)

So to begin with you need to go to st.petersburg make sure you go when night comes!

Once there enter the metro, try to avoid wasting ammo on casual zombies, just crawl past them!

Once you are in the metro follow the path down to the small military camp.

Once you are here turn left and follow the tunnel to the end point, you know you are going the right way if you see the Sk8ter sign on the wall.

Once you are at the end of the tunnel you will see a rock that has encased the train, to the right you will see a small opening just big enough to walk through.

Once you have gone to the small opening to the right you will see the sign.

Now the next step needs a quick type n the chat!
Just open the AREA chat by pressing K then type Anastasia Just copy and paste.

You will then see that the door slowly opens.

Now take a step in and have a quick look around, as the next time you will see it, a horde of angry zombies will be pounding in.

Now you need to get the horde beacon and place it to the RIGHT side of the soulcrystal, this is allowing you to have the best range on the zombies, and you want to try and distance yourself from the zombies the best you can.

Now you need to get back and push yourself against the soulcrystal the best you can, and if needed crouch down for a better view.
Now get your weapons out and shoot them zombies, make sure you wait for the to enter the room with you, THEN kill them, or the kills wont count as "Harvesting the souls" You know you are doing it right if they look like this when they die.

Then simply kill 20 of them INSIDE the room, and then you will get to the next step.

NOTE: You may think its easy but when mass amounts of zombies come rushing the corner you need to spray them down, because once you enter the next step you CANNOT use any healing items, so if you are bleeding you are going to die in the next area.

Second Step!

Now once you have collectd the 20 zombie kills inside the room, you will be teleported to a new testing lab, I am not adding any images here as it would spoil the east egg, so have fun roaming the small lab! there are 2 notes to find and they state some small details of the last days in the lab before it all went Zombie.

Once you are done wondering around the lab, go down the stairs to the last part of the easter egg, you will see another part of the crystal in a platform DO NOT GO ON THAT PLATFORM!

You still have parts of the lab to look at, if you go on the platform you will be teleported back to the ritual site.

Go the the left command console area, and you will find the last note wich talks about what previously happend to the crystal, yet again im not posting any images because it would ruin the easter egg.

Once you are done, and feel ready to return the russia, stand on the platform the crystal is on, and walk up to the crystal, you will here a wishper then BOOM you are back to the ritual site.

From this point on its GG you have completed all the steps and you should see the achievement pop!

Backstory! (And where to go)

So if you are interested in the backstory like I was, then follow these steps.

Head up to the small caves in the mountains located here on the map:

You can see my arrow on the point in the map, once you are here look through the caves until you find the soulcrystal sign, then to the left on the floor is a note, it explains abit about what happened when the crystal was obtained.

You can also go to the keryev mine on the map, enter the small white building next to the gas pumps, and read a note talking about some people buying it.

(Yet again im not saying what happened so I don't ruin the experience, but I will just give a hint n what it talks about.


So far this is all the notes I have found that have ties with the soulcrystal, and Im sure there is alot more, but thats down to you guys!

I will also post the full story line! so if you are not interested in finding out everything that happens you might want to finish the guide here!

Just making this clear right form the start if you want to experince the notes and easter egg on your own like I did then STOP READING!

Note in the cave:
The note talks about how a tribe came across the soulcrystal and attempted a ritual on it, when the ritual went wrong they broke the soulcrsytal into several pieces and scattered them acorss the land.

When you see the sign of the crystal it is a sign in the old language that the tribe used, it shows the "Whispers" You here them once you complete the easter egg. The "Night" meaning it needs to be night for the easter egg to work. And the "Harvest" wich is relating to you killing the 2o zombies and harvesting the souls for the cyrstal.

Note in Keryev:
The note speaks about how the miner found the crystal and wanted to sell it, he recived a email from a anonymous buyer offering triple the worth of the crystal, the man accetped, once the ruck arrived it was all blank and had the plate number:"SCRP-7B".

This is obviously a refernce to Scorpion-7 So they took the crystal away as they knew the power it had, and what they were able to do with it. (From this I think they understand the old tribes messages and wanted to shield use from harm.

The sign in the tunnel:
The sign that is in the tunnel of st.petersburg is a sign that is gaurded by the ancient spirit Anastaia, she is there to protect the crystal from falling into the wrong hands, thats why the ritual is a difficult ritual, because it shows a true warriors strength, which is usualy tribe related.

Lab note #1:
Talks about how the vaccine they were testing was making no effect on the infected test subjects, and talks how some of the infected became different in mutations, such as the flamer becoming flame proof, the flanker being able to generate electricty, and the spitter developing acid glands.

Lab note #2:
Talks about how they cannot belive they are rebooting the sessions on attempting to destoy the crystal, and are syaing all the methods they have tried, such as intese radiation, burning, electricty, blowing it up, and all other methods, it also has a part where it states:
"All the extended Cyrosleep may have messed thier brains" this is a obvious notion to aliens, coming down to earth and helping to research in cracking the cyrstal, they did not complete the task, and no alien life has been disscoved down in the lab.

All in all I belive the aliens were tracking the sould crystal and when the tribe got hold of it and messed up the ritual they started a big chain of events that have thus forth screwed humanity, the aliens finally arrived to earth and tried helping the scorpion-7 Team, but were flawed, and eventually the infected mutated broke out, and caused Unturned.

this is a bit funy a bit horrefying abit helpfull and a bit entertaning to read tell my what to do next on pt 2 get the ester egg hope you tell your storys hear as well on the easter egg qwest

Reson why i calld it the dead zone rover: it was the 1st thing to ever come back from dead lands i made a huge out post started with a normal 1garage and 2x2 space building then a long run way then some and i mean lots of army vehicle and a air feald tower and taxy part has a 1x2 bunker with artilary cannon can be found east on the 3 way lain if you go north from krovi estate.

but seriusly i set up 3 cage lights and a camp fire 1 barb wire fence and 3 mines a genarator to get the hord i had to remove the fence all the mines set off i got down to 15 all zombs ded i get med kit 2 zombys come from the distence after 10 min and im don i come out and i see next a full army hord of zombys my ded zone rover engulfed in it im on top cleaning them up with chain saw and in the distence i say whats that comeing OMG run i sead to my self run not to mension the rover got fliped by the hord i changed battery got out spawned in ID 95 the sky crane the rover decided to wresal it ant i blew up i tp back and get my loot and this is wer i start theling the hard time experience
