Fair enough. To stop automatic downloading when you re-play a subscribed map, you first have to unsubscribe, and I think that removes the map from your community chambers list... And of course if you re-subscribe you get the new map version. So it should be fixed, I could have a look. I just published a pretty easy map called Never Let Me Go, if you want you can check if it has any shortcuts for me?

It's difficult to know exactly what you're doing just from a description, but I suspect you're somehow playing an older version of the map (is it possible to force a re-download?). There is a fizzler between the starting area and the white gel, so I THINK what you're describing should be impossible!

Well, to get to the exit door you just set 1 portal near it and then go underground and set another at the white gel. Then just portal the light bridge across and time a drop onto it from a portal above it, land on it and jump off before it disappears.

What do you mean "not needed to solve it at all"? Have you found a way to cross the first light bridge chasm without going behind the scenes ?

Oh and I'm still not really sure why I blocked the lazer with a Franken Cube, looking back. What was that for?

I'd argue that without Hammer you'll never be able to achieve a 'behind the scenes' look, and even then if it's clearly the only way to go it doesn't feel like that. However I did like the aesthetics of this map, so it's no big deal.

Alright, I completed it and changed my vote to a thumbs up. SPOILERS coming up. It was a great chamber, really, but make it more obvious that the player has to crawl there, without making it too obvious (but rather too obvious then having to duck somewhere in complete darkness). Apart from that, the puzzles and design of this was good, even great overall! However, I think I did the final part in an unintended (that I'd keep in) way: I aimed the angled blue gel for the cube, and once it was blue and bouncing upwards, I used portals to make it red again so I could catch it. That was quite fun though! There's also a part with an orange funnel and there seems to be a dead end but then you move to the right and there isn't. However, after that, I couldn't see the intended way to go because it's only slightly lit and sunlight was in my room. Perhaps just place a light strip there, honestly.
