I believe you practice martial arts, every region has at least one martial art for the most part. I am practicing my sword fighting. I know MMA, started Boxing, then Kick Box, Muy Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have been developing my own style incorporating the Shaolin monks' stance, and studying their fighting.

Sounds cool! I have a couple of real, steel swords at home. One is approved for live steel fencing and I can use it to fight at ren fairs. A lot of fun! The style my group uses is just as disciplined as kendo or any other martial art, but is done using Western European fighting styles.

Recently, I hurt my shoulder in a car accident, so I'm relegated to fighting in video games for now.

My fighting sword is named 'enefeld's claw' after the heraldic creature and I've carved Norse runes of protection, strength and success into it. :) I hope to be able to fight with it again someday.

Oh yeah! You already know homie. I have my eye on several real world pieces, they constantly inspire me, that is a sword that has been sharpened to the quantum level, and we don't know how they did it! According to the legends, the sword maker used a special powder right after the final blow on the sword, while stil glowing hot...
Masamune is a sword maker I also admire.

I like to see named, special weapons in games like this. Weapons, especially axes and swords were highly prized in the dark ages and medival times. The really good ones were usually named, passed down through generations and sometimes attracted myths and legends about them.
