Mob of the Dead
Mob of the Dead (MotD) is a zombies map, located in Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge, in which you play as four gangsters (Finn, Weasel, Sal and Billy) The juncture of the map is set on December 31st, 1933. The map introduced a new mechanic, afterlife mode. In this map a couple weapons make their debut to zombies. The mystery box has a different look. The zombies have red eyes; the zombies are not in Samantha's, Maxis', or Richtofen's controll. The map also features the 'Fire Sale' Powerup.
Brutus
Brutus is the new boss zombie in MotD. He can disable perk machines, Icarus (The Plane) , Builable Tables, and the Mystery Box. Reactivating them costs 2000 points, though the cost scales up by 2000 with each utility disabled in a single round. He can be killed, but does not have his own round. Instead, he appears alongside other zombies, similarly to George A. Romero from Call of the Dead. Upon death he will drop a power-up. Brutus spawns when the player(s) spend too much money on the Mystery Box. He will also appear randomly throughout various hordes. If Brutus encounters an active trap, he will stop moving for a while and disable the trap. Once Brutus first spawns, he will reappear approximately every five rounds.
Afterlife
Afterlife is the new mode in MotD. You get in afterlife by dieing, and by using a voltage panel, though when using a voltage panel you will not lose your perks, and it will not count as a down. In Afterlife you can reach new places, power things, zap zombies and revive yourself. When playing Solo you get three (max) , and in Co-op you get one (max). When you don't have any afterlife remaining you just die and other players have to revive you, in solo it's game over. Every new round you get a new afterlife. In afterlife you won't be attacked by zombies. When you zap zombies in afterlife, they will get teleported to a random location, you don't kill them. In Co-op a zombie can be teleported to doorways so they can block teammates, thats why it is not spart to zap as much zombies as possible. Afterlife is limited to around one minute, after that you just die and need to be revived. However being revived will stop the meter from depleting, which can be used to significantly prolong the time left if there is another player free to repeatedly chain revives and never finishing. In afterlife you dont recieve powerups, but you can grab them, similar to being downed.
Icarus (Plane)
To get the five plane parts, you must get the wardens key (shock the lighted machine in afterlife when it is lit to lower the key)

The Parts are:
- The Uniforms (Activate the laundry machine in the showers)
- The Rigging (In the spiral staircase, in afterlife three numbers will appear, enter them in the number pad by shocking, the elevator will lower and must be opened before the time runs out, otherwise it will move up again, at the bottem out of the staircase room, theres a hall leading to the elevator)
- The Engine (Shock the three lit generators at the docks to disable the electrified door in the wardens office, behind the door is the part)
- The Valves (Open up the cabinet next to the cerberus head in the infirmary)
- The Tank (At the docks. In solo, open the gate with the key and shock the nearby voltmeter in Afterlife to open the gate to the tank. In Co-op, after unlocking the first gate, shocking the voltmeter will close it but open the one to the oxygen tank, and shocking it subsequently will open the first gate but close the second. Thus, two players must collaborate for one to shock the panel and the other to retrieve the part. OR you can power it before you open the gate to do it yourself)

In Solo you can carry all parts by yourself, but in co-op you can only carry one part. Build it on the roof (To acces the roof, go in afterlife, go through the opening in the infirmary and go to the roof entrance, shock it) When you board the plane you crash into the golden gate bridge, here you can pack-a-punch. To return go into the electric chair, you will go to the spawn room in afterlife and you have to revive yourself again. In co-op, once somebody boards the plane, the take-off sequence will initiate, players that don't board the plane on time will be left behind. Once all players have returned, the next round fuel cans will spawn on the part locations, with which you can fuel the plane on the roof again. Going back through the electric chair is one full cycle.

Special Weapons
Mob of the Dead features the Hells Retriever (And Hells Redeemer) , and the golden spork (Melee Weapon)

- You obtain it by feeding the three Cerberus' Heads 6 zombies (Kill zombies near the dog head)
- Locations: In the Middle of the cell bloc, at the docks and in the infirmary.
- The dog eats zombies slow, so your first six kills might not feed him six zombies.
- Once done you can get the axe in the room with three red dog outlines above it, on the pathway leading to the showers/.
- Upgrading the axe
- Get 10-15 kills with the axe in the prison, an afterlife sound can be heared once completed.
- Kill 30 zombies on the bridge. (Shooting resets the step, it must be 30 kills straight)
- Once you are back at the prison trow the axe at the lava pit located beneath the Dog head in the middle of the prison; you will not get your axe back.

- At a cell near the wardens office there is a poster, shoot it off using an axe or frag grenades.

Blundergat
The Blundergat is a map-exclusive wonderweapon, it is a mix between a blunderbuss and a gatling gun. Its the only wonderweapon to shoot bullets (Unless Converted) and the only wonderweapon that is a shotgun. Only one person can get it from the mystery box.

- When somebody already has a Blundergat, two Gats can be obtained instead of one.

Acid Gat
- Obtained by converting the Blundergat in the Kit.

- One is located in the infirmary, near one of the baths filled with blood.
- One is located on the docks, tucked away between a crate and a fence.

- Jump Scare Easter Egg
- Scope in with a sniper rifle on the firework in the display, a screamer will appear.
- Comic Drawing Easter Egg
- Paper scraps scattered around the map, when formed it shows a comic drawing made by Weasel.
- Brutus 115 Easter Egg
- Enter the code '115' into the number puzzle used to unlock a part for the plane, Brutus can be heared and the code changes to 666.
Pop Goes The Weasel (Main Easter Egg)
Pop goes the Weasel is the main easter egg from MotD and is an pretty easy easter egg when you work together. It can not be completed solo, you need a minimum of two players, on of which is the weasel. As usual the easter egg relates to the storyline.

- Complete the cycle three times, get the free blundergat and get the golden spork (grabbing the spoon from the cafe is enough)
- In the number pad enter the mobsters' prison numbers: 101, 386, 872 and 481 (This is hard to do in one afterlife, though it is possible)
- Headphone powerups will spawn, when you grab them the screen turns black and white and Stanley Ferguson narrates the storyline of the mobsters. the powerup spawns multibple times and you have to grab them all (you cannot grab them with an axe, compared to other powerups)
- board the plane in afterlife. Note that there will not be a prompt to enter the plane but by pressing the action button you board it. The plane does not have to be refueled and other players will be forced to board the plane in afterlife. When you are on the bridge you can revive yourself from the electric chair. To break the cycle 'Weasel' has to kill the other mobsters and for the cycle to continue the mobsters have to kill the weasel, however both endings give you the achievement while the description asks to break the cycle. Also the weasel will not be attacked by zombies in the last step. I recommend the tommy gun (M1927) pack-a-punched to kill the other players.
Trivia
- At the beginning cut scene, all four mobsters have fired more than six shots using Pythons without reloading.
- The player can see the name of the character they are playing as next to their point counter.
- PhD Flopper and Mule Kick can be seen in the docks, but are unavailable. Both are available in Cell Block, however.
- This map has different skins for Pack-a-Punched weapons from the past two maps. The guns appear to be cracked and have orange light pulsating from the cracks, with similar appearance to lava. (Looks sick; afterlife camo in mp is a blue variant)
- The Perk-a-Cola machines and the Pack-a-Punch machine make distorted noises and flicker between color and black-and-white textures, with the exception of Electric Cherry; it does not flicker, but still makes distorted noises. Also there are no perk jingles.
- When near C-D block at the Cerberus head spawn, there is a lava pit. If a player throws a grenade into in the lava pit, they will receive 20 points.
- In the opening cutscene when Albert Arlington pretends to be in pain, the time is 9:35, a reference to Group 935.
- The clock above the cafeteria door is at 1:15, referring to Element 115.
- The Golden Spork can be seen on the loading screen.
- There is a Tower of Babel painting in the Warden's Office above the barricaded fireplace near Speed Cola. It is a reference to the Tower of Babble Easter Egg in TranZit.
- In the library in the spawn room, one of the books on the bookshelf across from the afterlife box reads Alcatraz Swimteam Yearbook.

Thanks to callofduty.wikia for all information, it is a shorter version though and I do not take any cradit for what they wrote.

If anything is missing/wrong leave a commend and I will add it

NOTE: This is a REupload since my previous version was not uploaded to the 'zombies section of CoD'
