Randomly Distributed Items

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Randomly Distributed Items adds some armor, weapons, and other items, both from different Elder Scrolls games as well as some original creations, to the world of Skyrim and semi-randomly places them throughout the world. Some items are simply generic items with unique names and greater value, others possess unique combinations of effects, or entirely new effects. For a full list of items added by the mod, as well as the criteria for their placement, see my documentation at the UESPWiki ( http://uesp.net/wiki/User:SarthesArai/RandomItems ).

[COMPATIBILITY & CONFLICTS]

This mod should be compatible to nearly everything, as it uses independent quests to add the items to the game world. A few items have been added to leveled lists as well, but you can safely move this mod to the top of your load order without breaking anything.
All improvement options were created for Skyrim's vanilla improvement system.

[CHANGE LOG]

1.2.2:
- Dawnfang/Duskfang's kill messages will only display if wielded by the player.
- The bugged Blood Feast Shield is no longer obtainable, the bug that possibly makes every bash attack play the drain animation has been fixed.

1.2.1:
- Fixed a bug that caused Dawnfang/Duskfang to multiply if stored in a container.

- New Items: Blade of Fiery Light, Bow of Kyne's Flight, Dawnfang/Duskfang, Enchanted Plate, Focus of the Warlock, Knight-Errant's Cuirass, Kvatch Gladiator's Axe, Mace of the Companions, Mage Slayer's Shield, Skywatch Vindicator Cuirass, Spell Jewel, Staff of Worms, Sword Dancer's Jack, Sword-Singer's Jack.
- Chrysamere now has Spell Absorption instead of Damage Reflect.
- New model and slightly tweaked stats for Blackwater Blade.
- Changed Hrormir's Icestaff's appearance.
- Changed Hrormir's Icestaff's aquisition Quest to also include Hrormir's Ring.
- Syndelius' Boltcaster can now be found on an Adventurer Mage along with Dawnfang/Duskfang
- Balanced some values.
- Fixed minor holes in Perdition's Wrath's 3D model.
- Minor Tweaks and Fixes.

1.1:
- New Items: Apotheosis, Chrysamere, Cleaver of St. Felms, Cowl of the Druid, Gauntlets of the Woodsman, Goldbrand, Ice Blade of the Monarch, Ruin's Edge, Staff of Sheogorath, Veil of the Seer.
- Fixed issue that the waterbreathing effect was not working.
- Fixed scripting error.

I think the Orc is just called "Adventurer"...

So uh, Dawnfang is supposed to show up with this Orc called Grommok right? Well I found him, his party, and his journal, but the sword isn't anywhere near him, is this a bug or am I missing something?

sometimes...
some are given to NPCs (both friendlies and hostiles), some are placed in dungeons and chests, and some bring their own NPCs.

lol this Mod is so Awesome.. i've had it for over a year and no real issues outside of some of the weapons won't stay on the wall or Displays. but each one is pretty epic with some great enchantments and very lore friendly names. great job here!

some of the effects I used require scripts or perks to work properly, which cannot be transferred via enchantment. Also, if an enchantment has several effects, only the first one is scaled when enchanting custom items. Additionally, many of the items are legendary artifacts, for which it makes sense not to disenchant them.

If you want the player to be able to learn a modded enchantment, you have to change the "base enchantment" to itself...which isn't possible until you create the enchantment, then reopen it and make the change. If you don't do this, disenchanting the item gives you either nothing or whatever enchantment on which the new enchantment was based. Don't forget to set a Worn Restriction to determine what types of items to which the enchantment can be applied.
