Masterwork Stahlrim Sword

Description: A non replacer new masterwork stahrim sword, forged with even greater smithing skill than the crude looking stahlrim sword of the base game (Daedric smihing perk) I always wanted a high level sword that incorporated one of the many awesome mythic materials of TES but still had an indisputably Nordic look to it so I decided to make my own. Being significantly less clunky than the orignial weapon it swings 20% faster and is lighter, while dealing the same damage. Wihle superior, it should not feel over powered.

Aesthetic: The stahlrim itself utilizes the multilayer parralax mapping property also seen in frost atronach and glaciers to make it appear to be translucent and refracting with depth(looks great in motion.) The designs on the crossguard are a pair of dragos, a fire-breathing dragon on the pommel, and a Mammen Axe inspired representation of the dovakiin on the dragonbone grip.


Programs used: NIFskope, Blender, and GIMP -sexy free tools.

To Obtain: It can be made at any forge after completing the usual stahlrim pre-requisite quest, can rarely be found on the stahlrim enchanted sword lvld-list, one can be retreived from Karstaag and you may notice a much more suitably nordic change to Deathbrands signature blades (the enchantment remains the same.) Hope you enjoy!

Future Updates: the sword currently uses the dragonbone scabard as a place holder, I will change this hopefully next weekend.
