A quick troubleshotting guide to fixing some of the black screen possiblities after clicking to continue.

Quick fix
First off go to the game and right click and pick properties, from here there are two possible tabs that you will need to look into. First tab is under update and the second is under local flies.

Update tab
Bring up the tab and look all the way at the bottom where Steam Cloud information is. If the box is checked, uncheck it. If this is not, move on to the local files section. Try the game out and see if it runs correctly, if not try the local files section next.

Local Flies Tab
Under this tab click browse local files and in that window right click the version you are using and then select troubleshooting. Run through the steps that pops up and test the program, if it works, save settings and close out.

Hopefully this will help a few people with a few minor things that can get in the way of the game play.

I am having no issues with the game except it crashes suddenly a lot. 10/30 chapters down 3 crashes so far.

Had the black screen issue. For me somehow running the Windows 7 version in compatibility mode (I'm on Windows 10) allowed me to get past the blackness. I went and changed the display settings to match my monitor then exited. From that point forward both versions of the game seem to work fine; even with Telltale Cloud Save enabled. Beat the episode last night and didn't run in to any more issues. Hopefully this works for someone else too...

running as administration can also be found in the troublshooting menu. Just not under recommended settings base line.

So I tried this, didn't work. I tried running as administrator and success! Try that.
