Introduction
Get this. There you are, minding your own business, sipping on an ice cold beer. When suddenly, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decides that it's a funny idea to ask for a dispenser.

Now what you may ask? Well, being the polite gentleman that you are, you must oblige! But you're not just gonna give this prick his dispenser. No, why don't you build him a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tower while you're at it?

Then take this little ♥♥♥♥ up to the top and throw him off while you're at it. Let's get started!
Disclaimer
This guide is totally fake so if you were looking for some real knowledge you should gtfo now.

This guide was also abandonded around a month ago. But I came back to it for my 30 sub-scrub special. Enjoy!
What is it? And what do I need to build it?
Before we continue, we must analyze what we are dealing with here. Skyscrapers are a big step up from Dispensers, and we must take every step cautiously if we want a perfect result.

The Skyscraper is a side-grade to the dispencer. Instead of feeding teammates and enemy Spies health and ammo. It offers your team luxury and comfort, weapon switches, quick teleports, and sandviches on a silver platter. Each Skyscraper comes with a full staff of waiters, janitors, and Medics.

This is great and all, but whenever you build a Skyscraper, you and your building become a big target for the enemy team. Some variants come with cloaking devices, others have a long lasting health pool. You need alot of open space to build it. Luckily, you can build it in water, but the flooded levels will be useless, and you and your team will have to climb to the top. No Skyscraper spot is perfect, and they all have their flaws which make them vulnerable.

As you can see, this spot allows for quick access to the front lines, and gives Snipers a good nest to snipe in. However, you cannot enter from the front door. So a teleporter entrance is always required.

Now that we have that covered, lets go over the weapons and tools we need to build this high-rise.

- Any Primary

- Any Secondary

- Any Wrench (apart from The Gunslinger)

- Industrial Manufacturing PDA

- Airplane Control PDA

The Skyscraper (Stock Weapon)

This is the stock Skyscraper, here are the stats:

Costs 400 metal to build (two engies needed, or the Haste powerup in Mannpower)

Can be entered by teammates, a scanner prevents enemies from entering, can be infiltrated by enemy Spies, and the roof can be reached via explosive jumps.

It replaces the Dispenser and takes 13x longer to build (hitting it with a wrench does nothing to speed up the build process).

Placing a Sapper on every power box (4 outside, 6 inside) will disable the entire buildings power supply until all sappers are removed. Has a 20 second cooldown for being sapped.

It has 15,000 health. It also has a 90% bullet damage resistance (The Enforcer ignores this), 50% fire damage resistance, and a 100% melee damage resistance. But It also has a 200% explosive damage vulnerability, critical hit damage vulnerability, and a 9999% damage vulnerability to jets.

This building is special, as it can perform critical hits.

- Critical Hits are replaced with a damage invulnerability

- Critical Hits give a chance to ignore all jet fuel damage

Extras:

The Building provides windows for Snipers and Sentries to shoot out of, several Resupply Lockers on every floor (70 floors), and level 3 teleporters that reach every floor. You can put an Entrance Teleporter that leads inside the Skyscraper (via exit tele). Has room for more extras: like a bar, robot construction floor, artillery fire penthouse, weapon manufaturing system (use any weapon you want for your class temporarily, even if you don't own it)
The Classic Scraper

The Classic Scraper.. Is basically what it is. A regular Scrapper. Much like it's weapon counterpart, it's absolute garbage. So only use it for joke loadouts.

Pros:

- ayy lmao?

- Building can be charged like The Sniper Rifle so you can..... well I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue as to what this trash does.

Cons:

- 4200% Damage Vulnerability to all sources.

- No service until 100% charged
The Ramp Scraper

This is the Ramp Scraper. It is used for Payload maps. You can build it on the first, or second checkpoint (if available) but not on the third, fourth, etc, checkpoint, or the last point. It has a High Tower inspired cart elevator which you must push to the top before the movement bonus can be in affect.

Pros:

- While the cart rolls down: Movement Cap is Disabled, cart moves at 32x Speed, cart does not need a player to push it, enemies cannot block the cart, enemies that come in contact with the moving cart will be killed (you will be credited). This effect lasts 90 seconds.

- Can be surfed on to get mad air

Cons:

- Only works on Payload Maps

- 5000 less health

- Costs 110% more metal to build

- Build time increased by 200%

- Ubered enemies that come in contact with the speeding cart will slow the cart by 30% (9.6x)
The Deep Penetrator Scraper

This is the Deep Penetrator Scraper. Generally inspired by the Spies Knife, making this scraper Sapper-Proof. Also, thanks to it's pointy tip, it instantly kills anyone who tries to explosive-jump onto the top! Here are its stats:

Pros:

- Kills Enemies that try to jump on top

- Teammates who try to jump to the top will be bounced back and given uber for 20 seconds (takes around 9-18 seconds to land)

- Immune to all sappers

Cons:

- 100% damage vulnerability

- Only gives ammo, no health can be found inside

- When teammates make contact with the tip and get knocked back, they will be stunned until they hit the ground
The Combat Mini-Scraper.
This is the Combat Mini-Scraper. Much like the Sentry Gun counterpart, it is an unfair game changer and if you use it, you are a ♥♥♥♥ and I have absolutely zero respect for you. Here are its stats:

Note: This requires The Gunslinger to be equiped

Pros:

- Builds 4x faster than a normal Scraper

- Only costs 100 metal to place

- Deploys with full health

- You can build three of them!

Cons:

- Cannot be upgraded

- Cannot be repaired

- Looks like a ♥♥♥♥, much like yourself for using the Gunslinger

Note: This scraper repairs itself while building. Also, Valve has yet to have fixed this, and nerf this building like its sentry gun counterpart
The Spy Scraper
This is the Spy Scraper, it has many abilities similar to the Spy (hence the name). You can disguise the building as an enemy building so the other team might not attack it. You can only upgrade the building from the top (other buildings except Combat Mini-Scraper can be upgraded by hitting it anywhere, doesn't apply to sappers) Speaking of sappers, this one is ALSO sapper-proof!

You can only upgrade it from the roof because each level of upgrade gives it a different cloak, and "playtesters" agree that this will both balance the building, and prevent accidental upgrades. See stats below to determine which cloak is for you:

Pros:

- Sapper-Proof

- Can disguise as an enemy building

- Mutes volume of all teammates when disguising, but not for enemies (earrape)

- Each build level gives you a special cloak.

Level 1: 30 seconds of ghost cloak, enemies pass through the building, teammates can come in and get 20 seconds of normal cloak when they leave. Cloak takes 60 seconds to regenerate or 230 metal.

Level 2: Cloak and Dagger is always on whether you like it or not. Re-deploy time is increased by 100% and re-deploy displays no sound or visuals. Teleports to and from the building are instant and have no cooldown. However, no health or ammo can be found inside the building. Only a teleporter exit can be built inside.

Level 3: Dead Ringer style cloak. When the building takes 6000 damage in the time span of 70 seconds, the dead ringer activates, giving the building 90% bonus resistance to every damage type (except the Enforcers armor piercing bullets) until the cloak disappears. (lasts 50 seconds, 100 second regen or 600 metal)

Cons:

- 40% Less Building Health

- 50% Slower Melee attack speed when built

- 30% Damage vulnerability on Building

- 20% Damage vulnerability on User

- When you die, all cloaked teammates lose their cloak (except for Spies) and your building loses all cloaking abilities. Additionally, your building gets another 30% damage vulnerability.

- Only upgradeable through the roof
The Stadium Scraper

This is the Stadium Scraper, it has many uses. On the roof, you have a large grass-green soft surface to play PASS Time on. Inside, there is a Basket Ball court where you can host competitive B-Ball tournaments. So maybe people can take TF2 seriously as an E-Sport!

Pros:

- Make loads of money hosting tournaments

- 100,000 bonus Health

- 5000% Damage resistance

- Ignores Enforcer damage

Cons:

- No tactical advantage

- Enemies can enter the building freely

The Crate Scraper

This is the Crate Scraper. It is unique to every other Scraper, as you have to Craft it instead of finding, or unboxing it. No strange or killstreak variants of this item exist...

Crafting Blueprint:

- 4 original Mann Co. Supply Crates

- 4 Mann Co. Supply Munition Crates

- The Gabe Glasses

- 2 Refined Metal

- Any Strange, Vintage, Genuine, or Collectors Weapon.

Here are its stats:

Pros:

- It's big and majestic

- Invincible without Uber visual effects

Cons:

- Requires a Key from the Mann Co. Store

- Only allowed access into the building for 1 minute, then you will need another Key

Skyscraper Strategy
There are many strategies on making the Skyscraper more effective, and many strategies on combating the Skyscraper.

Scout:

- You trippin' fool? You can't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥. Switch to Soldier.

Soldier:

- Your Rockets do 200% extra damage against the Skyscraper

- Coordinate a Buff-Banner push with explosive classes to take down the building quick

- Use the Direct Hit for extra damage, it's not like you're gonna miss.

Pyro:

- The standard Flame Thrower isn't good enough to take down the scraper, as it builds with a 50% fire damage resistance.

- If you can reach the roof (somehow), equip the Jet Fuel Thrower Primary and a Flare Gun Secondary. They say jet fuel can't melt steal beams, so bring a little luck with you!

Demoman:

- YES. Now you're doing it right!

- Use the Scottish Resistance to get those extra stickies. Don't be an idiot and spam them, leave rapid fire to the Grenade Launcher.

Heavy:

- No. A bullet class like the Heavy is completely helpless against this thing.

Engineer:

- You can use the Airplane Control PDA to pilot an airliner into enemy buildings. However, you need to reach a high point in the map to get a good signal

- Upgrade your Sentry to Level 3 and use the Wrangler to Sentry Jump to higher ground

- You can build a Skyscraper to get a good signal. Use the Classic Scraper, as no one cares about you building it. If they do care, build the Stadium Scraper (as it has lots of health) or the Crate Scraper (as it is always Ubered)

- Your Sentry Gun will prioritise players before the scraper. That's fine, let it defend your team while they attack the tower

Medic:

- Use the Kritzkrieg with an Explosive class to ensure maximum damage

- Prioritise Demomen who are about to lay their stickies

Sniper:

- I would lie to you and say you should try to splash the building with Jarate (which you can do to this building only) but you can be way more effective with a Buff Banner Soldier

- And no, who cares that you can slightly reveal invisible buildings that people already knew existed

Spy:

- Coordinate with other Spies to make a stealthy takedown with Sappers

- You can get inside easily and sap the individual buildings and backstab the Snipers hunting your team
