How to Make the Terra Blade

One weapon in the game that deserves a lot of thought. [THIS IS OUTDATED]

Nights Edge

The Nights Edge is able to be built in pre-hardmode.

The Nights Edge is made out of: Lights Bane/Blood Butcher, The Blade of Grass, Marumasa, and the Fiery Greatsword.

The Lights Bane or Blood Butcher could be made out of 18 Demonite bars or 18 Crimtane bars. The Corrupt sword is the Lights Bane with the 18 Demonite bars. The Blood Butcher is the Crimson sword. Only one is necessary to craft the Terra Blade.

The Blade of Grass is made out of 12 Stingers and 12 Jungle Spores.

The Marumasa could only be found in the dungeon chests once Skeletron was defeated.

The Fiery Greatsword is made out of 20 Hellstone bars.

These swords could all be found or made more than once.

In order to craft the Nights Edge you would have to go to a demon altar.

Excalibur

Excalibur is made out of 12 Hallowed bars which are obtained after killing the mechanical bosses.

Excalibur can only be crafted on an Orechelchium/Mythral Anvil after hardmode has been achieved.

This weapon is used by King Arthur.

The "True" Variants of Weapons

In order to get the True Nights Edge you have to collect a Broken Hero's Blade as a rare drop from most solar eclipse creatures. The crafting recipe is going to an Orechelcium Anvil with the Hero's Blade and the Nights Edge. The product would be the True Nights Edge which shoots out a spinning blade.

The True Excalibur has a similar process. You need a Broken Hero's Blade and Excalibur at the Orechelcium Anvil. True Excalibur shoots a sword beam which flies until it hits a block.

Crafting the Terra Blade

To craft this, you would need to get both true weapons and craft them at an Orechelcium Anvil.
The outcome will be Terraria's iconic weapon.

From wiki: On the Desktop only.png Desktop version, the Broken Hero Sword has a 25% (30.94% Desktop only.png) chance of being dropped by Mothron, which starts to spawn after all three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. On the Console only.png Console version and Mobile only.pngMobile version, it is instead dropped by Frankensteins and Swamp Things, with a 0.4% (1/250) chance to drop. Frankenstein and Swamp Thing spawn during a Solar Eclipse.

i have it
